Our stay at this cabin was disappointing due to multiple undisclosed issues. The cabin had several maintenance problems, including flickering bedroom lights, a damaged mirror, a malfunctioning air conditioner, and refrigerator freezer issues. There was also a soda left inside the small refrigerator when we arrived, raising concerns about cleaning between guests.Cleanliness was a major issue. We found Asian beetles in the bed sheets, cobwebs throughout the cabin, and hair in a folded towel stored under the sink that was supposed to be clean. The hot tub had a strong, unpleasant odor and did not appear to be properly maintained, so we did not feel comfortable using it.Safety was also a serious concern. One of the hammocks on the property was unsafe and caused an injury that required an emergency room visit. After booking, we received an email stating ATVs were not allowed on the property, which should have been disclosed beforehand. After checkout, the host attempted to charge an additional cleaning fee for moving a couch only a few steps, despite no damage.Overall, this property was not properly cleaned, maintained, or communicated as advertised. We would not stay here again.
The house was beautiful and we had a great time with family. There were a few things I wished I knew in advance. First off there is NO oven, I missed checking if they had an oven in a property that sleeps 18. I basically cooked for 22 in an Easy Bake oven that didnât heat or cook evenly. Second off this house does not sleep 22, it sleeps 18. There is no sleeper sofa in any of the rooms and none of the sofas were sleepers. There is no hair drier which I checked in advanced if the property had one and they replied it did. They have 2 types of coffee maker, Keurig KCups, and a regular drip coffee maker. Also you can not flush toilet paper down the toilets and one of the restrooms had a bad sewage smell. Over all we made it work and had a great time with family. Probably wouldnât return to this property because of the fact there is no oven.
The property and the house was amazingly beautiful. I had a few incidents that I felt could have been handled differently But overall, my family enjoyed the stay.
Wonderful, accommodating, thoughtful hosts. The property was beautiful as a whole. The cabin was a delight. It is decorated beautifully. We rented the UTVs and rode the trails. We went fishing. Also fed the horses. Made smores. The sunrise and sunset are amazing. The stars are glorious at night. My family members have texted and called since we left talking about the great time they had. The outdoor spaces are awesome as well. The hot tub is huge. There is enough space in and out the cabin so people donât feel crowded. Our group was 18. Only 4 people under 18. Wonderful experience. We will be back soon!
