It was very unique, the rooms were wonderful and so was the hostess. Extremely friendly and helpful. If we can we definitely come back. Absolutely wonderful experience.

The rooms are comfortable, clean and well-appointed. Valentina and Nicola are warm and friendly hosts. Dinner was excellent. Staying at Chateau Isle Marie was like staying in a fairy tale.

The immediate reaction when walking into the lobby was this place stinks. But you get use to it. Also, they lock you in at night. Discovered that when I had to go to my car late at night and the front door was locked. Presumably for security, but not for fire codes and safety. I promptly told my Dad not to use the front door for and emergency. Very dangerous.

From the very moment we drove on the property, we knew it would be a special place. A working horse farm, in the owners family for over 200 years, this is one of the nicest places we have stayed in. The couple that owns and runs the manoir were more than accomodating, greeting us each evening when we returned from our day of touring with a glass of wine or Calvados. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Private bathroom for our Suite which consisted of two large bedrooms with king beds and our bathroom. Breakfast was servered each morning from 8:00 - 10:00 in the dining room if you desired it. Fresh eggs, ham, cheeses, pastries, yogurt, cereal, and homemade jams and honey for croissants and breads to name a few items served. Pictures do not do this manoir justice. We highly recommend this property if you are in the Bayeux area.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this most excellent Hotel in the past 2 years! Nothing but HIGH Praise for it!!! Everything was excellent!!! The Breakfast is awesome!!! The Restaurant and BBQ Grill they have are very good! I will stay here again in the future! Highly recommended...…!!!!!

The weather was awful, but the rooms were nice, clean and convenient. The only issue was we arrived after the office was closed. We were lucky and ran into other patrons and they shared the code for the box to obtain our keys.
