I had a pleasant stay. The staff was extremely polite and helpful especially during check-in. The complimentary breakfast was also good. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
The rooms are extremel old, and dirty. There is no elevator which makes brining luggage to and from your room very difficult. There was only bread, apples and banana for "breakfast".
Discounts should be given while property is renovated and painted. Halls and walls were dirty and full of construction dust, tape, and paper. Definitely not worth 140$/night
The room was absolutely disgusting. We booked for 2 nights, got into town around 6, checked in and had to rush to another town 30 mins away to be with my mother in law whoâs fighting 2 types of leukaemia and didnât get back til 11pm. We had no choice but to sleep in andirty bed, use the filty bathroom. There was even old food left in the fridge left behind from the last people that stayed there. And they still charged us for this room fully. We checked out the next morning and just couldnât stay the extra night. This is not okay.
The front desk agents were friendly and cheerful. The property was adequate; the carpeting, paint and furnishings all looked tired. The morning housekeeping staff was unfortunately loud, waking us up by apparently talking on their cell phone while working in the breakfast buffet area.
Great service and wonderful staff. The hotel really needs a facelift and an elevator would be welcome. Also the breakfast leaved a lot to be desired but is understandable in quiet times when we stayed.
The room was clean which was nice. Breakfast left a bit to be desired. There were only four slices of bread and two yogurts left when we got to the breakfast area just before 8. There were apples and bananas and a few cookies. Staff came on at 8 and refilled the bread but one guest came in after us, looked around and went to Tim Hortons. The hotel needs their staff to pay more attention to this area.
