The hotel is clean, just their room service food needs improvement, which they charge a 5 USD fee. And we were not provided with bath robes and slippers, although its mentioned on the amenities for the room we booked. The main buffet restaurant is amazing, their service is excellent. The food trucks are such bonus at the pool area. Also the pool bar service is amazing. There are ATMs on the premises too, both currencies, USD and Pesos.

We had a great overall experience at the Melody Maker. The hotel was experiencing power quality issues throughout our stay but the hotel staff did a great job of accommodating their guests as best that they could. Night Manager Julio Maldonado delivered amazing customer service and made us feel like customers were the top priority at this hotel. Desk attendant Ceasar was also very helpful and delivered great service. There was a Manager by the name of Marisol that was not so friendly and also was not welcoming. Overall, it was a great time and we would definitely stay here again.

Horrible experience, see below! I'm respectfully requesting a full refund for my stay at your Hotel due to the following: Upon arrival Friday, April 5, 2019, I was unable to retrieve a Room Key for 2 hours while waiting in the Lobby with my luggage. I wasn't offered any beverage or assistance other than being told I would have to wait due to the Power outage among several hundred other guests. Upon receiving my room key after waiting for 2 hours inside the Lobby, I had to climb 17 flights of stairs to get to my room. Upon entering my room, there was no power for Air Conditioning, Wifi or access to a Shower. Once I placed my luggage in my room, I walked down 17 flight of stairs to reach the lobby to obtain water, then up 17 flight of stairs again. This situation and lack of power continued throughout Saturday, Sunday & Monday as I climbed 17 flight of stairs to my room, more times than I'd care to remember. On Monday, April 8, 2019 at 11am, I approached the concierge desk along with the Spa to request Medical treatment for the blisters on my feet from continuing to use the stairs along with a bruised ankle as I'm 49 years old with bad knees etc. Upon making the request for Medical treatment, I was told there were none available to me at which time I made the request to have a friend of mine who resides locally in Cancun to bring me some ointment to treat my blisters, but was advised, I'd be charged $150.00 to allow her to enter my room. I was refused Medical treatment!

Due to further interruptions and damages caused to emergency power generators, that unsteady situation extended over the weekend. We are sorry for the misunderstood with the medical services, the hospital that we work with charge 150usd for the Doctors visit, nevertheless if you want to call a different Doctor, we do not charge any extra fee, he/she just need to present an official doctors identification. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this may cause you. We would love to have the opportunity to be your host once again and pamper you under the best circumstances. Once again thank you for letting us know. We will looking eagerly to your next visit. Best Regards!

All inclusive doesn’t mean all inclusive. Room was fumigated during our stay, Didnt ever receive liquors requested and when we bought our own and brought it into resort it was a problem. Cleaning tables in restaurants was wiping with a dry towel and putting same mats back down. Waited for half an hour before the wait staff even took our drink orders. Worst vacation we ever had.

Great hotel on the beach...Pool area is amazing

My wife and I stayed here July 11-15th 2018. It was an amazing experience and the food is good. Make sure you get a room with a oceanview. This hotel is close to two malls and a strip of clubs they call the City or coco bongo. Great experience..
