This 3 Bedroom 2 bath home is cozy and charming. Enjoy the front porch swing or hang out on the back deck and yard in the warm months. Just a short walk to many local bars and restaurants and 2.5 miles from Wrigley Field. You can take public transportation at the end of the block to anywhere in the city. Great stay!

I stayed at Dave and Liz's place for a long summer weekend. Everything was great. Nice bedrooms, beds, bathrooms, air conditioning etc. and it was nice to have a garage for parking. Dave was very communicative. Would stay here again!

Amazing Stay

David was the perfect host. This property is in a great location, great neighborhood, friendly neighbors, and an easy commute or uber to any attraction or downtown. The house is fully stocked and has everything in the kitchen you would need for cooking. When we return, for sure will be looking to see if this house is available.

The house has a great location and is very clean and well-stocked with towels and toiletries. Not a criticism of the place, but if you really travel with a large group, as we did, the garage is small for a large vehicle and the house is crowded with bodies. We only really needed a place to shower and sleep, and it was perfect for that. Highly recommend.

Overall the property was exactly what our family needed. Location was convenient to all our activities. Bathroom and kitchen are a bit worn but we aren’t upset by a little age on a property. Instructions on using the garage area could have been a bit clearer, but after 1 time we figured it out. Sleeping arrangement were fine for 5 adults. Owner was very communicative and the wine was a nice touch. Thanks!!

The Perfect Staycation!

My recent stay at this rental was nothing short of amazing! The hosts were super friendly and responsive with answering any questions I had. I let them know I was booking to celebrate my birthday with some girlfriends and they went the extra mile to leave a small note and gift to say happy birthday. The home was clean, nicely decorated, and fully stocked with toiletries we may have forgotten to pack. The location was perfect - walking distance from bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. Overall, the entire experience from booking to check-out was a breeze. I highly recommend this property, and will definitely book again for any future staycations!

Great area, older house but clean

Having an entire house with 3 bedrooms was fantastic. House was very clean. One bedroom on main level, 2 bedrooms upstairs. Having a garage was great. Had a problem with the combo door lock, but Dave was immediately available to help. Kitchen doesn't have much if you plan to cook a meal but no problem for us as we planned on eating out all weekend. Ate at the Churro Waffle one morning- a 1.5 block walk. Older house so the floors are very creaky. My Mom loved this as it reminded her of her childhood home, but beware if you're a light sleeper. Overall, we will stay here again if we bring family along and need the extra beds and baths.

Happy Place

Dave and Liz are recent hosts to VRBO. Their place was just what we needed to accommodate our daughter’s family of five. The upstairs has a bunk room for four and a couples room for two. A very nice bathroom as well. Downstairs was cozy with bedroom, living room, dining room, foyer with closet and desk as well as a convenient kitchen. We especially appreciated the use of a two car garage. A deck and front porch with swing would be nice for warm weather The place was very clean and host was quickly available with answers to our questions. Instructions clearly posted and a nice gift bottle of wine provided. Bathrooms and kitchen equipped with many toiletries and cleaning supplies Lots of places to eat in area. Bus service to the el is nearby. Two city parks quite close. We definitely would return and recommend.
