I usually request a room on second floor due to being trapped in their elevator 5 yrs ago. But there was a wedding & the wanted to buffer the noises; it worked out OK.

This was the perfect place to stay. Restaurants, CTA, grocery stores, parks, shopping, and family all in walking distance. The hotel consists of 3 different buildings: The main Carleton and the Plaza Hotel are joined and there is a separate motor lodge. We had a king in the Plaza. The room was spacious with a small kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator, pod coffee maker, dishes and utensils). The bed was incredibly comfortable. There’s also 2 restaurants - fancy Italian and basic pub - on ground floor that you can charge to the room.
