The room was cold in spite of setting the thermostat up. The heating system made a loud noise everytime it came on. It went on and off all night with a loud noise. No one was able to sleep.

Mostly nice and updated. The wall paper was ripped by the light switch in bathroom. Only 1 dishwasher tab for the dishwasher, needed 2 bc we cooked 2 nights. Right off the highway easy to find coming off interstate.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. The outdoor area with a fire pit and the barbecue grills really allows you to make yourself at home. Will definitely stay there again

The location is convenient - any easy 20 minutes to Six Flags. The rooms are a nice size and very comfortable. This was our 2nd stay at it is now our preferred place to stay when we want an overnight near Gurnee.

There were 7 of us and our room was spacious and suited our needs exceptionally! Especially for the price!!! It had 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with 2 queens. Then it had a pull out couch queen bed. There was also small kitchen. It was clean, well maintained and definitely exceeded my expectations. We will be staying there again if we visit that area again.

The first room we were assigned smelled like someone took a whole case of Febreze and dumped it everywhere. The smell was unbelievably overwhelming. We asked for another room, and they did accommodate us and that room smelled better. Still a tinge of chemical aroma, but not nearly as awful as the first one. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful though. In the bathroom, I adjusted the blinds as they were facing the wrong way (tilted down so that someone on the ground could look up and potentially see in.) When I reversed the blinds, the other side was pretty filthy and I noticed a towel stuffed in the window pane, probably to keep out a draft.

Great rooms at a great price

Cons: Pool temperature was a little cool for my liking, but the kids did not seem to care!
Great rooms, clean and bright and comfortable. Hotel was clean, staff were pleasant. Great location, only a half hour drive to multiple different attractions and down town Chicago. For the price of this hotel, I would definitely recommend it and will definitely use it again if I am in that area.
