Overall, our stay was very good. The location is safe and conveniently located. The outdoor pool was amazing! The staff went above and beyond and were extremely friendly. The only reason I did not give this hotel 5 stars was because there was a big ball of hair on the bathroom floor that I had to clean up. The balcony door was left unlocked and I felt like that was a little unsafe. I was surprised there were no robes in the room for being a nicer hotel. And DO NOT eat at the restaurant downstairs in the hotel. The food wasn't good. The drinks weren't any better. And the service was sooooo slow. They brought my meal out 15 minutes before the rest of my party. Honestly, it was the worst dining experience we've ever had in Chicago. Such a waste of time and money. Awful.

We really appreciated the comfortable seating in the lobby. I didn't like pay parking as a guest perhaps validate parking.

The building is beautiful and the exterior grounds are enjoyable as well. The room quality both cleanliness and climate of the room were disappointing. The A/C unit was not working and I called the front desk on the broken phone in room to have someone come fix it, but no one came and the room climate remained stuffy and warm.

Having a bar in the hotel is convenient. The lobby is gorgeous and so is the entrance. The rooms lack a true city view, even if staying on the side not facing the office building. The rooms floors could use some vacuuming and in great need pillows that aren’t the size of decorative pillows. Overall this property is overpriced for what you get.
