The staff on site were courteous and professional throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast was average compared to other hotels, with standard options like eggs, sausage, cereal, and pastries.
That said, my rating reflects several concerns. The room felt dated; the furniture, carpet, and lamps appeared worn, with some surfaces looking like they had been repainted or had an odd texture. More importantly, the room did not feel thoroughly cleaned. I accidentally dropped a few clean, damp napkins on the floor, and when I picked them up minutes later, they had black residue on them, indicating that the carpet had not been properly cleaned. As a healthcare professional, this left a strong negative impression.
Additionally, I was given an accessible room despite booking a standard room nearly a month in advance. Although the staff acknowledged the mistake and told me to check the following morning for a new room, relocating would have been inconvenient since I had already unpacked.
Overall, the stay was just okay. I found myself wishing I had stuck with my original plan to stay at a different hotel. I was swayed by the overwhelmingly positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite align with them.
