Great location for the theater - many dining options near. Only drawback was that you could hear the trains - a light sleeper may have an issue.

First time here, hotel is lovely. Well decorated with fashionable interior. Staff were helpful, friendly, and efficient—and plentiful. Room is comfortable and well decorated. Good location for shopping and tourist attractions. Easy to get around. Unfortunately, we stayed on the 6th floor and the windows are not thick so every noise outside sounds like it’s happening right next to your ear. I’m not talking about the train rumbling or the cars honking—that’s just city living. But the car music that sounds like my alarm is going off and pulling me out of a deep sleep at 1 am. Then the doors banging at all hours of the morning and that people’s conversations woke me up because it sounded like they were in my room. I’ve stayed in many Chicago hotels and never have I felt like I was sleeping street level. Perhaps this would not have been an issue on a higher floor, but the lower floors made my sleepless stay unfortunate. Which is too bad given that everything else about the hotel initially made me want to stay again. But after last night, probably won’t.

There was nothing special about this hotel. Certainly nothing that justifies the expense. I have stayed at nicer places for more reasonable prices.
