The location couldn't be better. Easy access to trains and busses. The layout of the unit is really nice with the extra room downstairs. The kitchen has everything you would need for your stay. Would definitely recommend.

This brownstone is in need of major updates. The pictures to advertise don't give a realistic view of what the property actually looks like. The furniture is so old and run down, it's frame is broken and doesn't recline. The paint is chipping, the tubs are cracked and permanently gray. The beds are ok, linens are basic. The onsite shared laundry closet is sketchy. Would not stay here again, it's not homey.

Parking is a nightmare. Host provided passes at an extra 20/day, but finding a place to use thoses passes proved almost impossible. It was close to Wrigley Field, but not much else. The place was clean and provided all needed amenities. Could use some lighting on outside steps.

Wonderful stay!

This property location is perfect. Exactly as advertised. It is on a quiet street right around the corner from Wrigley Field. It was perfect for my husband and I and our two kids with my parents. We would for sure stay here again!!

Great location and layout for a concert at Wrigley

Overall, we were very pleased with our short stay! The location was absolutely perfect for a concert at Wrigley field. There is plenty of shopping and food nearby, and everything is walkable. We did add parking and lucked out by scoring a spot right out front. The unit is very spacious with a great layout for a larger group than we had. If you read other reviews, many things are true. There is room for updating and the entrance is not accessible, but neither of those were an issue for us. For the price, it was a great value and served us well. I have no doubt the owner could have charged a far higher premium rate for this particular event, and I was grateful my reservation wasn't cancelled (which I have had happen in the past other places). I do agree that additional towels would be good given the size of the unit, so if you have over three people, you might need to pack some. Communication was excellent, and we found everything to be well-stocked. I would certainly stay here again.

Pay for what you get

Great location. Did not have all cook ware. Very dirty house with stains on furniture and place has never been dusted. We have family with severe asthma and this was an issue.

Comfy home

The beds are very comfortable, located in a quiet and cozy neighborhood, and within walking distance to Wrigley Field and Public transportation. While the home was nice and we felt comfortable and safe, there were still things that could have been much better. Like others have mentioned the kitchen supplies lack tremendously, we were in need of very common supplies; a spatula, lids to fit the pots and pans, and mixing bowls. (The owner did bring a used pot and lid and said he would bring a spatula the next day. We did not receive the spatula.) The supplies that are available are very used and should be tossed out. There’s only one television in the home and it isn’t very big. There was not enough seating in the living room for our family of 6 to enjoy a movie together and the couch arm is broken (this was brought to the owners attention). Although there was some great information provided during the online booking process, I still feel that there should have been a welcome guide upon arrival. We weren’t aware how to work the downstairs heat, the stove burns need to be looked at, dishwasher soap door is broken and being shut with duct tape, the downstairs toilet flusher needs replaced, and the bbq grill available was propane but turned into a charcoal grill. Thank you for opening your home to us!
