This quaint Ten Mile Haus condominium is a 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath unit that Sleeps 4 people. The Bedroom is furnished with 2 Double Size Beds. Amenities in this unit include a Gas Burning Fireplace, a new 40 inch TV, DVD player, Free WiFi and a Full Size Kitchen. At approximately 610 square feet. The building provides Community Laundry Facilities and covered parking is available. A short 3 min. walk gets you to the lifts, shops and restaurants of Center Village. Not worth the money saved

Ten Mile Haus is in a great location. That's about the only upside of staying there. The decor is terrible, some of the lights don't work, the fireplace doesn't work, the jets in the hot tub didn't work, the ski locker right by the front door was locked so can't be used, one of the chairs was broken in two, etc. The photos are VERY misleading. It is very difficult to get in and out of the garage because you have to pull a rope to open the door and there's barely enough room to back out. Will not stay again.

Really nice accomodations. Full kitchen with moka pot to make coffee, but a tea kettle was missing. 2 TVs in each rooms, comfy beds and huge sofa. Indoor garage. Hot tub out of commission and still under construction. Overall is a fantastic place

Perfect, Justifiably quaint ski condo

My daughter (11) and I LOVED the experience at this perfect ski-condo. Ski-on, ski-off. Everything we needed, comfy, close to Copper Village, easy check in. We did not want to leave! Can't wait to go back!

Good deal in Center Village

This was an excellent choice for a slightly more affordable stay in Center Village - walking distance to the American Eagle & Flyer lifts, bus stop to other lifts, and the main action in Center Village. My 9-year old was a first time skier and was able to navigate the stairs and short walk (about 100 yards) well, and if you're comfortable on Blue runs you can ski in to the back door! The condo was set up well with what we needed with kitchen utensils, bedding, etc., and worked out perfectly for our needs. I only have two points of constructive feedback: 1) provide a small print-out with key information about the house (assume we need handholding): how the thermostat works, how the fireplace works, etc. Or even a small label with info on the relevant switches. Everything works, but it's old and non-intuitive. 2) send in advance what we will need to purchase. Food is obvious, but some rentals have things like plastic wrap, aluminum foil, etc. It would have been helpful to know what "kitchen standard" items were already there and what we needed to buy before making an extra trip to the store or over-purchasing. Overall it was a great stay.

Excellent Ski stay spot

The property was dated but nice. It is located within walking distance to Center Village and the Eagle and Flyer lifts. Getting in the garage was a little confusing and you will want to ensure your car top and any racks or toppers are under 6 feet. We had to remove skis from our rack to enter. It would have been nice if the property had a hot tub but then again we were there to ski and got 2 great days in. Would recommend this unit for a jump point to ski Copper.

Let me start with the positives: Dishes were well stocked in the kitchen, perfect size for a couple! Nice and cozy, love the fireplace and the bench for putting on ski boots. Nicely stocked with towels/bathroom accessories. Loved the huge pillow in the living room for laying on. Price and Central location was good. Now for the cons: ad read two double beds, silly me didn’t realize a double is a full. Most people nowadays want at least a queen bed. My husband and I slept in separate beds which isn’t ideal. Bedding comforters were worn and only one bed was comfortable, pillows were too soft also. The blinds in the bedroom were broken allowing others from outside walkway to see in. Also the curtains are very thin in bedroom allowing too much light in. I hung a blanket over rod to cover broken blinds. Condo is extremely outdated! Sectional sofa was extremely uncomfortable, thank goodness for the large floor pillow! Kitchen stove had knobs that were unreadable which made it a little challenging for seeing the temps. Also, no place to store groceries except kitchen table or countertops. No closet for hanging clothes in the bedroom as owners have closet locked. Advertised as having a walk in closet. Not sure where that was. I would not stay here again because of the outdated, worn feel. But, price and location was reasonable.

Great Short Stay

It was a pleasure to stay so close to the lifts! Everything publicize about the condo was what I experienced. The only thing I was not prepared for was the lack of elevator for my disable Mom to go up from the garage. There was no disabled access anywhere.

I’ve been renting properties for Several years in Steamboat and Copper. Two to four trips each year. This is by far the least impressive by far. Bathtub was spongy and very slow draining. The decor has not been updated for years. No smoke alarm either. It was Unplugged and on the counter. The toilet is the way too small and outdated. My suggestion would be to have a minimum upgrade requirement to ensure your rental properties are trusted. We left a day early to stay somewhere else. Please consider informing the owner to upgrade or get out of the rental program! Call me anytime to discuss more details. Extremely disappointed, Randy B.

The unit was very cozy. Had everything needed for a great time at Copper. We had hoped to connect an HDMI device to the flatscreen TV, but it was mounted to the wall and we couldn't access the port. All worked well and we had a great time in the unit.

Great location

The listing and description were accurate. Likes: all the basics were there: fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, silverware, microwave, coffee maker, etc), lots of extra bedding, nice bathroom. The hot tub was just steps away from our door (hot tub is outside) Parking was covered, and heated, and very close by. Easy walking distance to Center Village (and shuttle stop for access to East and West Villages). You can ski into the unit from the slopes above Center Village. You would want to walk to Center Village to catch a lift up (you would probably not want to ski out of the unit because of the lay of the land). There is a trail just 50 feet behind the unit, that runs from Center Village to East Village -- but it is really flat. That makes it a hike to get to East Village (lots of ski skating or polling to get there). You can easily carry enough speed from the slopes on Center Village to get to the unit (i.e. "ski in"). There is a laundry room which is great (bring quarters). Property was clean and well-maintained. Good customer service. We were able to get in early on arrival day -- the managers called us as soon as it was cleaned and ready (it just depended on when the previous occupants left and the cleaners could get to it). We got new towels with more than a 4-night stay. The property is an older building, and this is reflected in the decor -- but the add/description is accurate. It is a ground floor unit with units above and adjacent to it. So we could hear modest footsteps in the unit above us, and we could hear people walking up stairs in ski boots. But this would not detract from us staying there again. The adjacent units were quiet and respective (no loud or obnoxious parties). We stayed over New Year's Eve. The unit was functional and plain, but the price is fair for what you get. We have a small family of 3 and it was perfect for us (1 bed room). There is a sleeper couch but we used an air mattress that we brought for our pre-teen child. The 2 adults used the bedroom. I would recommend it to family and friends. I would describe it as a good place to sleep after spending all day on the slopes. It is functional, clean, great location.
