Very friendly and professional staff. Hotel was clean, ample towels in the bathroom with full size shampoo conditioner & shower gel. We wanted to know what restaurants delivered and were handed an ample list of local restaurants. And were recommended a pizza place that was really good.

Not the best selection of breakfast food. Mask wearing signs did not seem to be enforced very strongly.

Anonymous: Thank you for your recent stay. We appreciate your business and hope you will give us another chance to do better! In Illinois those who are vaccinated are not required to wear masks. Respectfully, my staff is not going to ask for written documentation from each and every guest for proof of vaccination. Masks are not mandated by law in Illinois. We cannot "enforce," we can suggest. The 5 signs in the lobby, along with having mask and gloves present on a table, with a 4x4 sign as you enter the breakfast assuredly "suggest." Our breakfast choices? The choices are made by the Brand. Many hotels and chains are not even offering a hot breakfast, we do. Sincere apologizes our hot selection of scrambled eggs, omelets, biscuits and gravy, sausage was not adequate. - Matt Groppi - General Manager

It is close to a great restaurant that we like to go to, and is right off the highway so it is easy to find.

Clean room. The staff was able to accommodate our special request for connecting rooms. There was so little noise tranfer between the two rooms, I has to use my baby monitor for the kids. Very happy about that!

This was the best hotel we have stayed at in over 5 years. The staff was friendly. They had a good hot breakfast for guests. The rooms were spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable. I will now look for Holiday Inn Expresses when I stay somewhere.
