Welcome to our charming cabin retreat nestled on 20 acres of picturesque land, offering a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure. Located in a peaceful neighborhood on a dead-end street, our cabin provides a secluded escape set back into the woods, with the added charm of being on a farm with sweet and friendly cows that adore attention.

As you explore the expansive property, you'll discover the beauty of nature with abundant wildlife. Deer frequently forage right off the back porch, creating a serene backdrop for your stay. Relax and unwind on the large porch, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine with a stunning forest view, grazing cattle, and the delightful presence of local wildlife.

For history enthusiasts, our property is not far from the Old Spanish Trail, an area where Native Americans once lived. Digging in the sand has revealed artifacts, and there are intriguing stories of gold possibly buried by indigenous people who crossed paths with early settlers. Feel free to explore these historical aspects with metal detectors for a unique and fascinating experience.

Convenience is at your fingertips, with a small town just down the road featuring gas stations and a Dollar General. If you crave more amenities, Dayton is only 5 miles away, offering a variety of restaurants and shopping options.

Our cabin features two bedrooms—one with a comfortable queen bed and the other with a cozy full bed. There is one bathroom, ensuring convenience and privacy during your stay.

Despite the serene rural setting, our cabin is well-connected to urban centers. It's approximately 45 minutes to downtown Houston, 50 minutes to Hobby Airport, 45 minutes to IAH, 15 minutes to Grand Parkway (TX-99), 40 minutes to Baytown, and 1 hour to Beaumont. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat, a historical adventure, or a convenient base for urban exploration, our cabin is the perfect getaway. Please note that while our friendly cows share the land, it's essential to exercise caution when interacting with them. We came down from Wisconsin to fish the Trinity River. We enjoyed the property and the cleanliness of the cabin. Great location close to town, but yet far enough out to feel secluded. We will be back!

This stay is all that is advertised and more! The setting is so beautiful and secluded in a very nice subdivision. The home is very modern cozy and clean. The owner is very responsive and accomodating. I would highly recommend this property!

My son was visiting his girlfriend’s family and the only available place that has charm and privacy was this beautiful cabin. The stay was perfect nice wrap around porch, lots of wildlife to see, very clean. I could’ve stayed another week to finish writing a book. Has a thrilling/fairytale feel to it!

The perfect getaway for peace and solitude

This property is amazing. The house is fully updated throughout and the beds are quite comfortable. The nature around us made the visit even more peaceful and while it wasn't necessarily my intent to just unplug, thats exactly what i was able to do. The homeowner had provided everything that you could want and it was a beautiful home. I highly recommend and hope to visit again.
