It’s that time of the year—the mountains are calling and you are ready to hit the slopes. There’s no better place than ski hotels in Ayrshire. With access to various places to ski, from bunny hills for the newbies to black diamonds for the experts, Ayrshire ski resorts are your best bet to enjoy some wintry fun.
If you're a beginner skier and want to start with a few trips down the bunny slopes, see if your Ayrshire ski hotel or the nearby facilities offer lessons. If you're a veteran on the slopes, take the chair lift up to the top of the mountain and take in the views as you slalom down the fresh snow. After a full day on the slopes, retreat to your Ayrshire ski resort to warm up. Take a dip in the hot tub on property, drink some cocktails at the lobby bar to warm you up or get cozy in your hotel room and order room service.

Western House Hotel
"We only stayed for one night in an accessible room ( we are in no way disabled, this room was assigned to us) in an annex of the hotel. The room was spacious and clean and we were provided with dressing gowns and slippers. The receptionist who checked us in was friendly and cheerful and the process was fast and easy. Getting some drinks at the bar proved a little tricky as one member of the bar staff was still training and the other lady did not handle a small issue as well as she might have. This didn’t ruin our experience by any means. Breakfast was a well stocked buffet. The hot options were hot and nicely presented. All in all, worth the cost. We would certainly stay here again if we required accommodation in Ayr."
