Near the Route des Bastides, charming fortified villages that played an important role during the Hundred Years' War (Belvès, Villefranche du Périgord, Monpazier, Beaumont du Périgord, Domme, Fonroque, Lalinde, Molières, Eymet, not to mention the many sites of the Dordogne Valley 18 km away (castles, villages, gardens, etc.).
