"The room was clean, the ensuite well lit but the bedroom was very dark, better lighting required. I prefer not to have meals with dogs in the restaurant. I do like dogs and have 2 dogs of my own. The receptionist who we checked in with was unfriendly and unhelpful. "

"This apartment is tucked away on a nice quiet street, with a friendly pub half a street down. The level of cleanliness in the property was some of the best I have seen; you can clearly see that the owner cares about her business and customers! We had a lovely stay and got lots of activities done, from a boat tour in seahouses (40min drive) to see seals and dolphins, to an audio tour of warkworth castle (10min drive) and many other things along the way. "This small cottage was ideally situated in Amble, a busy fishing village even in early November. Close, too, to the local, excellent restaurants and pubs. The host was helpful and fun. The cottage is pet friendly and parking nearby is always possible. Thoroughly recommended."
