I have limited mobility and being placed so far from the elevators was difficult for me. To get too my room and my vehicle. Beds were also too hard for me. I slept maybe 2 hrs.

Hotel was great, staff was great, room was clean, and the pool was great. The price for 1 night was too high. I was there on medical grounds, and stayed at a different Best western the night before to stay closer to the West End for our medical appointment and booked with the hotel directly for a medical rate of $119 with complementary breakfast. I called to ask for another medical rate at this specific best western closer to the north and it ended up being $159 without tax which is absolutely ridiculous and they stated “couldn’t go any lower.” We were stuck in Edmonton with a 2 year old because of the snowstorm and wanted to be closer to the north as we have to travel 4.5 hours north to get home. I ended up looking online with Expedia and found a better rate than what they were willing to give me From direct contact with the hotel. It was still way overpriced, and there was no complementary breakfast. We Booked it in a rush just to get off the road and out of the snow storm.

The staff were super nice. Some things are a little outdated (carpet, doors) but overall comfortable. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The shining star though are the staff and food at the in-house restaurant. No there isn’t a free breakfast, but $10.50 for coffee, two eggs, choice of meat, diced potatoes, toast, and fresh-cut fruit is a pretty good deal. The staff are so friendly, remember if you stay longer than a day, and food is served quickly (even when it’s busy).
