The Hillside Court Chalet by Mountain Vacation Lodging is everything a mountain resort ski chalet should be. It was recently gutted, renovated and refurnished to very high degree, with a design and decor that compliments the upscale finishes and furnishings. The ample size of the home makes it very comfortable for large groups, while the number and size of the beds makes it work for many different types of groups. Not pictured yet are two large decks and a brand new private hot tub that are scheduled for completion and installation in October 2021. This duplex home is located within the gated Arrowhead Village community at the base of the Beaver Creek resort. Complimentary shuttle service is provided to whisk you and your group throughout the Beaver Creek Resort area. Please read on for additional details.

The Property:
The home has three levels, multiple living rooms, office, and large bedrooms, which allows your group to spread out and find some privacy when you want it. At the same time, the home's main level has a very large and open layout that allows your group to gather together in one big luxurious space. As soon as you enter, hardwood floors and a carved walnut wall draw you into the living room. Vaulted ceilings and two story windows give this room a spacious and airy feel. A large U shaped sofa and multiple arm chairs surround the gas fireplace and large HDTV while also offering views across the Eagle River valley. Step onto the back deck to enjoy even better views, dine outside, or relax in the private hot tub. The gourmet kitchen is very large and more than fully equipped. High end Thermador appliances found here include double ovens, a 6 burner gas range with griddle, and an extra large fridge and freezer with filtered water and ice. Coffee lovers rejoice! This home has a Nespresso, a Keurig, as well as a standard drip coffee maker. This is just one example of how well equipped the kitchen is. The layout works well too. Instead of an island to get in your way, this kitchen has a square shape that maximizes counter and cabinet space while leaving the center open for multiple chefs to move around. On one side of the kitchen is a peninsula with bar seating. Next to that is the dining area which seats 8 to 10 in comfort and up to 12 when you add a leaf or two. On the other side of the kitchen is a mud room area. From the mud room you can access the garage as well as the hot tub and BBQ deck.

Also on the main level, you'll find a private office with half bathroom, and the first of 5 beautiful bedroom suites. Bedroom 1 is very large. It features a King size bed, private patio, armchair, and an HDTV. The bathroom within this bedroom suite is an amazing 5 piece, with dual sinks, large freestanding bathtub, and multi headed waterfall shower. The upper level includes three more bedroom suites. Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have King size beds, and Bedroom 4 has 2 Queen size beds. All 3 of these bedrooms have a very nicely updated and private "ensuite" bathroom. Downstairs is where you'll find Bedroom 5 and the second living room. Like the main living room, this lower living room has a very large U shaped couch that encourages group interaction, offers comfortable seating for many, and surrounds a large HDTV. This room also doubles as a game room, with a shuffleboard table and an armoire filled with board games. Bedroom 5 is a bunk room, but look twice, this is not your average bunk room. All 4 of the beds are Full size beds, also known as Double beds, which are just a smidge smaller than a Queen. The attached bathroom is accessible directly from the bedroom as well as from the lower living room area.

Location:
Arrowhead Village at Beaver Creek is a fantastic place to be. This gated community is very safe, private, and beautiful. The Arrowhead ski area base offers a very quick way to access the ski slopes as well as a few dining options. You can walk to the center of the Arrowhead Village, including the Arrow Bahn ski lift, in under 10 minutes. It's only one half mile from the home to the Arrow Bahn chair lift, and walking around this small community is a pleasure. However, skiers and snowboarders will rejoice in the easy, fast, complimentary shuttle service that is available to whisk you to and from the Arrowhead, Beaver Creek, and Bachelor Gulch base areas. You can use the "Village Connect" smartphone app or just pick up the phone, dial them up, and before you can get all your gear on, they'll be waiting right outside. The development is built in and around the Country Club of the Rockies, a private golf club that offers those staying in the community the opportunity to dine at its Vista restaurant as well as snowshoeing & cross country skiing when conditions permit in the winter season. Also, the numerous shops and dining options in town of Edwards and the Riverwalk at Edwards are just a couple of miles down the road.

Arrival, Access, and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you. We offer professional concierge services, provide you with arrival instructions, and answers to any specific questions you might have. Your arrival will include checking in through the main gate, a code for a secondary gate into the residential area, then driving right up to the home. Accessing this property is easy. There are no stairs required to enter. from the driveway or garage. Onsite Parking is available for up to 3 vehicles. Specifically, there is 1 space in the heated garage and another two spaces outside, immediately in front of the garage. If you will have more than 3 vehicles, there is additional parking available in the Arrowhead lot, which is about 1/2 mile away, and still within the gated community. Sorry, but trailers are not allowed.

** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Best experience gorgeous house

This is my favorite ski house we’ve stayed in. It’s close enough to walk to the ski lift for the more *active* guests but the shuttle is super accessible and easy to use as well. Everything about this house was perfect. Kids enjoyed playing in the yard. The hottub was large and could fit several adults. Entertaining space was great. You can tell that they didn’t cut any corners with costs and comfort. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for a week. With another family. The house is beautiful and is in a perfect location. It is stocked with everything you need. Easy access to slopes from Arrowhead lift. It was an amazing place and we would definitely rent this property again. Loved it.

Beaver Creek Ski Vacation

Our group of 3 families (14 total) had a great stay here. The place was roomy with great views and modern amenities. The shuttle service for this Arrowhead neighborhood was a great benefit, picking us up and dropping off at our driveway. Hot tub was in good shape as well after it was repaired promptly after we got there. Would stay here again if skiing at Beaver Creek.

Poor housekeeping

Our refrigerator and freezer were stocked full from previous tenants, including a deli sandwich that was 6 months old. Wet towels and linens as well. Hot tub, despite a servicing never functioned properly

Arrowhead ski visit

Sylvia the property manager was very responsive to our questions and requests. Arrowhead lift was not operating which made getting on piste a challenge. People on the shuttles were not all respectful of masking requirements, but that’s where we are these days.
