2 hours from NYC and not far from route 17, Lake Barnabee is a lovely and peaceful lakefront community which prides itself on its secluded location in the Catskills. Nearby you have quick access to the amenities of the town of Liberty including the Liberty Fish Market, incredible Greek food at Yiasou Cafe and a large supermarket with all the fresh food you might need. If you are feeling adventurous, Walnut Mountain trail system is just up the road. Love antiquing? Town & Country Antiques in Liberty has all kinds of treasures. Additionally, there are many charming small towns that are all within quick driving distance like Livingston Manor, up-and-coming Jeffersonville, and Roscoe. We are super close to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts which hosts live concerts featuring popular performers. Want to explore a little further? Narrowsburg and Callicoon sit right on the Delaware River and also have a plethora of quaint shops, restaurants, and activities.

Centrally located on Lake Barnabee, our home is a quick 5 minute trip to all the commercial standards you would need, while sleepy, charming, walkable towns are all around from Livingston Manor, Jeffersonville, and Roscoe. The lake itself is bustling with life in the summer months in a friendly little community all around the lake with lots of wildlife like swans, geese, a local beaver, and so much more.

Each room has been thoughtfully curated to reflect the ever present beauty of the surrounding landscape. A serene color scheme and ultra-flexible lighting options are complemented by plush amenities such as extra pillows and cushy throw blankets. Each bedroom has space for guests to store their items with stylish organization.

The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need to cook a lovely meal or simply make a cup of tea to relax with.

The lower floor has an entertainment lounge area complete with snow-cone machine, popcorn station, and stocked full of board games and puzzles.

Our office space doubles as a serene yoga space with all essentials like a mat, full body mirror, and blocks.

Step outside on the deck and patio to take in the lake views, fire up the gas grill, or sit by the fire pit and see the stars. Outdoor fun can last all day. Take a swim in the lake. Not a swimmer? We’ve got kayaks, paddle boards, tubes and a pedal boat. We have more water toys than just these; pool noodles, kick boards, & fishing rods too! On dry land, there's a huge connect four lawn game, corn hole, a variety of lounge chairs and seating areas, and the fire pit is RIGHT on the lake. For wintertime fun, bring a pair of ice skates for the lake, hike the nearby Walnut Mountain trail system, or simply cuddle up on the couch and watch the snow fall on the lake. We even have inflatable sleds, hockey sticks & puck, and ice skate trainer along with adjustable ice skates for kiddos.

If you like walking and biking, the roads in The Lake Barnabee community are quiet and perfect for a stroll. Traveling to Liberty and other nearby towns will require a vehicle. Parking is easy in most towns.

Nestled on an exclusive 4-acre lake, the beautiful natural scenery offers fun and views any time of year. Spring fishing is a great pass-time "catch-and-release" only. Summer swimming and boating is a favorite. Fall offers plenty of excellent leaf-pepping days and a wonderful opportunity to take the pedal boat for a spin. In winter, enjoy ice skating!!

Any use of the lake by guests is done so at your own risk and with acknowledgement of water safety precautions. Please always wear a life jacket and never leave children under the age of 18 unattended near the water. We thank you in advance.
