"We were somewhat concerned about being in a subdivision, but the property was very private. There was ample room for everyone and snacks in the fridge, for those of us, who wanted to partake of them. (We brought our own food). The kitchen was also well-equipped for cooking 🍳. Just one exception - a toaster would have been nice at breakfast time, but we managed just fine without."

"We had a wonderful stay in the family suite at Misty Meadows. The room was clean and a lovely space to be in. The location worked well for us, a 30 minute drive to downtown Victoria if not travelling in rush hour, and it was nice to stay somewhere beautiful and quiet. Errol and Cathy were friendly and attentive but gave us plenty of space, and Cathy made us an excellent breakfast, also going to the trouble of preparing a packed breakfast when we had to leave very early on our last morning. Their very affectionate feline co-hosts Jewel and Gem were also much appreciated. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The first thing you see when you walk in is a beautiful garden, you can hear the birds in the morning when you walk outside. The host has a variety of pamphlets with things to do and maps of Victoria and surroundings which was very helpful to plan our day. The stay comes with lots of entertainment options from streaming, books and games. Also, it was very handy to have 2 bathrooms. We would definitely book again."
