Beautiful Family Friendly House within walking distance to beach

Welcome to beautiful Shelly's Searenity! This family-friendly home is located on the west end of the island, 2 and a half blocks from the Pedestrian Beach. This 3 bed/2bath house has an open concept living, dining and kitchen area. Enjoy your meals out on the deck as you watch the International ships come into port. Take the kids to the Splash Pad or on a nature walk at the Surfside Bird and Butterfly trail, all within a 2 block walk from the house. Cruise around the neighborhood on our beach bikes and soak in all the sun that Surfside Beach has to offer!
EDIT: As of August 7, 2022 there will no longer be bunk-beds in the home. The 3rd bedroom will consists of a double bed, with a pull-out twin trundle, underneath. Pictures will be updated then.

Wonderful stay!

The property was clean and as advertised. The house is well laid out and wonderfully stocked. We felt very at home. The beach was super close and there was a fun dock to go crabbing within walking distance. We will definitely rent again.

Beautiful rental!

We've been coming to Surfside for 5 yrs now and this has been the nicest rental we've ever had. The house was VERY clean and stocked. The owner's thought of everything and the basket of snacks and goodies when we arrived was so thoughtful and nice. The decor is beautifully done. There wasn't one single thing we didn't love about the house and location.The owner was very quick to respond and answer all our questions. We will definitely be staying here again soon! Can't wait.đŸ˜Šâ€ïž

Amazing Stay on Texas Gulf Coast

We had an amazing time! The bikes were perfect to ride around and then stop for a walk on the jetties. The outdoor games of cornhole and rings and darts were a huge hit to escape the heat. The house was stocked with everything we needed from coffee to snacks. Michelle was super responsive to all of my questions. Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend!

Favorite rental so far!

I have rented a few properties at Surfside and this one has been my favorite so far! Key amenities were the water filtration and washing machine/dryer. Very kid friendly, roomy and loved having the oscillating fans. Truly don't have a negative or wish anything was different (ok, other than the mosquitos but it's that time of year ;)) Will definitely be back and renting this property again!

This was our second time staying here and we already have another one booked! It’s an amazing rental! Great for all ages - our kids are 3, 3 and 4 and the house is very suited for them. The host is great with communication and the house is well stocked. We highly recommend it!

Perfect vacation

The property was better than it was described. Everything was spotless and beautiful. The attention to detail with the supplies and the decor of the house were amazing. The snack basket was a hit with our kids, Access to the beach was a nice walking distance. The neighbors were friendly, we loved the small town feel. This was our first time in Surfside and we loved it. Not too big of a city and too busy. We will be back soon!

Great Beach Home

Very clean, well stocked home. Had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoyed close walk to beach, jetty park and walking trails. Grandsons enjoyed playing darts on downstairs patio. Would highly recommend.

Great Family Beach House!

This house was clean, comfortable, and close enough to walk to the beach. It was very well-supplied. We felt welcome and all ages found something special to enjoy. Our 3-year-old spent the evenings catching frogs from the porch swing, our 8-year-old spent beach moments on the boogie board that was made available, and our 13-year-old giggled her way through the "Grumpy Cat" book she found on the shelf. The parents appreciated the outdoor shower that kept the sand outside, as well as the buggy for rolling gear to the beach. The Surfside pedestrian beach felt safe and family-friendly. The town has a few little shops and restaurants, but it doesn't feel like a heavily commercialized spot, which we also liked. If you want a great place to bring the family to the ocean and just enjoy each other and the waves, we highly recommend this home! The owner was kind, accessible, and helpful. Thank you for everything!!

Just what we needed

Good location. Reasonably priced. Easy access to the beach (short walk, or short drive if you have a bunch of stuff to bring). The house has all the comforts of home -- and plenty of stuff (games, bikes, sporting goods) to keep the kids occupied. The owner, Michelle, was very responsive to our questions.

This is the best place I have ever stayed

I have stayed in rentals on surfside beach for years, and this is by far the best rental we have ever had. The beds were all very comfortable, everything was very clean and updated. They had snacks for us and so many little extras - like ice cubes ready to use in the freezer, bikes, tons of outdoor and indoor toys/games, fresh drinking water, sandwich bags and tinfoil, q tips, extra blankets in your room and couch blankets, beach towels, Landry detergent, trash bags and tons of K cups for the keurig or a bag of ground coffee if you preferred it. This is a host that really cares about your needs and goes above and beyond to make sure you will have a great time. It’s clear they also want to make sure you won’t be without small details you would normally have in your own home. I have three toddlers, this home was pretty easy to have small kids at. Every time I come to surfside in the future, THIS is where I’m staying.

Beautiful beach house with all the extras

This house was beautiful! The beds were comfortable, the living room furniture was also very comfortable. I was so impressed with the kitchen. Fully stocked with extras. Especially appreciate the coffee! Whatever water system they have on this house made my hair soft and silky. Set up like a home away from home. Thank you so much. I would love to come back and stay here!

Amazing property!!

Michelle went above and beyond to ensure that her guests feel at home! We loved riding bikes along the beach, watching ships go by, walking the jetties, cooking on the grill in the evening, and enjoying the fire pit at night!! We will certainly return when we can! This was probably the best rental house we have ever stayed at!!

Perfect place to stay

The property was perfect for a beach vacation. It was very clean, spacious and looked just like the pictures. The downstairs area with seating and games was awesome! Was a short walk to nice pedestrian beach. We ended up forgetting something and Michelle was so kind to meet us later that day and return the item. We would definitely stay here again!

5 stars all around!

We have been traveling to the coast every summer for years & this is by far the best beach house we have rented to date! It was impeccably clean & so incredibly well stocked that it really felt like the hosts thought of everything. We always come prepared, as we like to cook big meals together & have all we need for full days at the beach, but we didn't need anything we brought along! The downstairs area was also a real treat. Our family and kiddos spent a lot of time in that space playing the outdoor games provided, sitting on the swing & grilling out. We also were grateful for the trunk full of beach toys like boogie boards & sand toys. But the biggest bonus was the collection of beach cruisers that made us all feel like kids & the trips back and forth to the beach a breeze. Would definitely rent again.

The house was within a 5 minute walk to the beach and was filled with games, bikes, books, snacks, and beach items that were a hit with adults as well as the children. A well maintained clean property

The host was very helpful and responded immediately. Property was very clean and my kids loved the complimentary snacks too. The only reason for 4 stars are the mosquitoes downstairs. We did not bring any repellents and among all of us my 3 year old daugther got the worst of it. I was horrified looking at her arms and legs and would have appreciated a little tip for things to consider.
