The Mark at Surfside, Apt. 11

This is a fully remodeled spacious studio unit. Located upstairs, this open room features a comfortable queen bed and a futon for additional seating or sleeping space. The full bathroom includes a bathtub and comes stocked with bath towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap for your convenience.

For your dining needs, there is a small kitchenette equipped with a coffee pot and filters (please bring your own favorite coffee grounds), toaster, microwave, mini refrigerator, and dishes.

Stay connected with the Roku smart TV and Wi-Fi included in your stay. Outside, you'll find chairs and a small table for your personal use, and a shared outdoor area with picnic tables and charcoal grills for some outdoor fun. Just remember to bring your own charcoal and grilling utensils if you plan to use the grills.

Our location is convenient with restaurants, a convenience store, and a liquor store nearby. Plus, the beach is just a short walk away, less than a block from the property! Leave your vehicle in one of our two shared parking lots and spend your day at the beach or purchase a Surfside Beach permit from local stores to drive your vehicle onto the beach.

*The Village of Surfside has always had issues with its water. It has a bit of an off color, odor and flavor. We have installed a filtration system to help with this and the water is safe for use, but it doesn't fully remove these issues. Please look to bring bottled water if this will be an issue so that you have access to it.*

We loved staying at The Mark! The room was clean and inviting. The refrigerator and kitchenette gave us freedom to enjoy some meals at home. The parking lot was perfect. It’s in a great location to enjoy the beach. There’s an outdoor shower to help get the sand off. We had an amazing stay.

What a lovely place for a young couple to stay

I booked to get a mental get away. It was perfect for this purpose. Not a lot to do outside of beach time but if that is what you want. Plus it’s only a short drive to more activities including nature trail, and just the drive along blue water hwy is stunning! I say for young couple as the steps are not easy on older legs and knees. This was clear on the booking, but just to reiterate, the steps are not easy. I was happy to see a hot plate has been added since I read the reviews. My only issue was the WiFi was very weak! I needed to get on my work computer and couldn’t secure a connection due to such a weak signal. Even my phone couldn’t find it after the first day when the building had more occupants. But for the mental get away, it was perfect. Comfortable big bed with lots of pillows. Clean and so cutely decorated.

My fiancé and I stay in Surfside at least once a year. This rental was perfect for us. It was quiet and the location is close to everything we would want in Surfside. This room had good amenities for the price and communication was great. We will stay here again.
