It is very much out of the way from public. One can easily miss the road (Yellow Barn Rd) from Rte 13. Additionally, I find the shower pressure to be a problem. It is just barely a stream coming out of the shower head. So the bottom line for me, from a bath/shower perspective, it is inadequately equipped-furnished.

1. This property did not have shaving kits. 2. There is little to nil information on the stay? 3. I came into Ithaca early (11am), and the person at the property would not let me do early check in. 4. Each room does not have a TV. 5. Each bathroom only has enough body wash for 1 night, and does not get refilled on the 2nd night.

We were in the area to see a concert at the Center for the Arts in Homer, NY and we needed a place to stay. The Yellow Barn looked like fun. We were not disappointed. The Barn is charming, with large common areas, a full kitchen, and a large deck and grassy area at the back. We were only staying for a single night and it was raining, but when we return we will plan on having enough time to enjoy everything. Christian was a wonderful host, never intrusive but available. The check-in instructions were perfect, and we had no issues whatsoever. We will be back.

A very lovely place

I will be back. It’s an inn. A very lovely, cozy Inn. My major issue was the fact that it was cold and I couldn’t turn on the heat for some reason. It’s also in the middle of nowhere, but they have a water filter which I think is the most essential thing and they have breakfast type things. The Wi-Fi works as well

Wow, beautiful house

We were in Ithaca for graduation weekend. I wish we knew about this house sooner, would have loved to spend the whole weekend. Bus from Ithaca town was a short walk. We stayed one night in 3 of the 5 bedrooms. Christian meet us and told us the history of the barn and set up the bbq grill for us. We had a nice family dinner. The kitchen was well equipped. The rooms were clean and comfortable with ensuite bathrooms. I would love to return here and book the entire house. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy so we couldn’t enjoy the large screen porch, the decks and the front porch.
