They just had instant oatmeal instead of cooked like they used to. Otherwise everything was good. The low rating is due to the extremely noisy room I had on the first floor at the end of the hallway next to the ice machine and outside entrance.

"I had a very disappointing experience at Golden Host Resort and would not recommend staying here. The condition of the room was unacceptable—there were cigarette burn holes, dirty floors, stained walls, and filthy baseboards that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The sink was clogged, the fridge didn’t work properly, and to make matters worse, the door lock was broken, which felt extremely unsafe.
The outside areas were just as bad. The pool was green and scummy, and the surrounding area was littered with cigarette butts, making it unpleasant to even sit nearby.
Overall, the property is poorly maintained and far below basic cleanliness and safety standards. Definitely not worth the stay."
