We counted on have an additional bed in the basement with the sofa bed. We could not open the sofa bed because the pool table was blocking it. We need that additional bed. House was not as advertised. Very distinct in that.

Galena Territory house

The house was a nice size. There was a bathroom on each level. The remote for the TV in the lower level was missing. We enjoyed the screened in porch, the full size refrigerator, and having a dishwasher.

Great time, great home, & good people

We had an amazing time in Galena! Asher was a great host with consistent communication, transparent listing, and accommodating. Our kids (ages 9-13) had a great time in the basement area where they spent most of their time. The home has plenty of space for two families of 4. One family enjoyed the upstairs rooms while the other family enjoyed the main floor. The home had just about everything we needed and was clean! I'll definitely look forward to it next stay here!

Good location

Nice home with a beautiful screened in porch. Nice walking trails and clubhouse with pool access. Home has all the basics - everything you need and is not too far from town. It needs updates though - carpet and sliding doors need to be fixed/replaced. Only major issue we faced was no Internet and therefore no TV for 2 days of our 4 day stay. Quite the challenge with two teens in the home and we could not watch any of the basketball playoffs on TV. I could not work remotely due to no Internet either. Owner was responsive and offered a credit of 50.

Updating and TLC Needed

The location of the property was great, convenient to town and skiing at Chestnut Mountain. However, the rental could use some effort and money put into it. There were stains all over the carpets, a ripped up rug in the living room, there was a kitchen drawer without the front on it, and the Pizza/baking pans that were provided were so worn and rusty. We also had an incident in the upstairs bathroom where the diverter valve flew out of the spout and therefore was not usable, only the bath. We also had to replace batteries in a couple remotes and none of the clocks unless plugged in, had the correct time/worked.

Ladies get away.

House was as described. Check in/out super easy. Ryan was very quick to respond to questions. House was stocked with everything we needed. Only thing was the carpets were worn & in need of a cleaning but that’s unavoidable with a rental. Located approx 10 min from Galena for shopping. Screened in deck was great for us to sit & talk. Overall, great rental!!

Good location, love the fact it’s a dog friendly house. Lots of places to go shopping and loved going swimming at the resort. The host is also super nice and understanding if something goes wrong.

Lovely home and area

We had a wonderful stay at this home and area. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and feels private w/all the surrounding trees. It's accessible to many walking trails, fitness center, golf courses and only 10 min from town of Galena. It's spacious with lots of natural light, comfortable furniture, beds and a pool table. It's clean, organized, and has all the essentials needed. Kitchen is fully stocked to accommodate all needs. Wifi worked great for work connectivity. Screened in porch was a plus and was enjoyed every morning w/our black lab. It was a relaxing 5 days and close to our son who attends a college nearby. The host is very timely with communications. Hope to stay again!
