Sitting elegantly on the edge of the sparkling bay, this sprawling vacation home in Terramar Beach has four levels and space for up to 20 of your friends and family. Park your boat at the private covered dock and bring your fishing gear— this is one of the best fishing spots on the coast! There’s also a barbeque area, screened-in patio, and multiple outdoor spaces for relaxing in the fresh bay breezes. Rent it and relax— you’ve found your home-away-from-home on the Texas Gulf Coast.

● Location: Terramar Beach community of Galveston, Texas

● Beach access: Terramar beach access point is a 30 second car ride or a 3-4 minute walk away

● Private pool: We have a Cowboy soaking pool on the ground level that can comfortably fit up to 8 people when it`s time to relax and cool off.

● Community Amenities: Guests have access to the Terramar beach community pool— open Memorial Day thru Labor Day— and the boat launch and marina with the provided keys.

● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates.

● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.

● Pet Policy: 3 pets are allowed with a $25 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.

● Large Groups: We love hosting church groups and large family gatherings, however groups over the size of 16 guests must be approved prior to booking.

● Parking: 2 cars can fit in the garage and 2-4 cars can fit in the driveway. No street parking allowed.

The open living spaces are downright dreamy with beautiful, unobstructed bay views from all levels on the home. The kitchen opens up to the dining area and living space, with plenty of countertop space for food prep and serving.

The first bedroom is down the hallway and is a secondary master suite— complete with a king-size bed and a private, ensuite bathroom. Two more bedrooms are on the main level, one bunk room that is always a big hit with the kids, and another room with a queen bed and full over full bunk bed. A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo can be accessed from the hallway.

The main master suite occupies the entire third level and is ultra-private. Painted a soothing sea blue with white trim, the master suite has a sumptuous king-size bed and french doors that open wide to sweeping views of the bay from your private balcony. The giant master bathroom has two walk-in closets, a double vanity, a separate tub, and a step-in shower. Climb up the stairs to the fourth-floor lookout for a birds-eye view of the coast.

The extraordinary outdoor spaces are sure to be a hit with everyone in your group. You can choose to relax in the screened-in patio on the main level with a glass of wine and a great book. Or, head out into the open air and work on your tan. Host a family dinner outside at twilight while a pink and purple sunset lights up the skies above you. Make your way down to the ground level and enjoy the Cowboy soaking pool, or head to the boat dock to do some fishing.

When your crew wants to spend a day at the beach, the access point for Terramar beach is about a 2-minute drive away. The mouthwatering restaurants of the West End Marina are also just a short hop from your front door. And the hustle-bustle of the Galveston Strand and the thrilling Pleasure Pier are a short drive away. This bayside home is the epitome of a Texas Gulf Coast paradise.

● Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 16 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- No jumping or diving into the bay. Children must be supervised at all times.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

The property is not even close to the condition that is shown in the photos on VRBO. Those photos show the home in a beautiful, fresh condition. Those photos are outdated. The house is shabby and needs some care. We could have looked past it being aged but it was dirty. The first thing was the broken garage door. There was an odor in the living area. The kitchen had spills that had run down the side of the cabinets and spills on the walls, there were dead bugs in the windowsill and on the floor in the corners of the cabinets. The screened porch had a small table with dirt and water spots and a bottle cap. The screens are torn in multiple places. The outside area by the dock was filthy, trash in the corners, rusty fishing rod laying on the ground, water hose sprawled out, the grill was full of ashes and the ash bucket was full, there was a crab net with old chicken still in it. The dock itself is in disrepair with the boat lift strap hanging in the water, bare electric wires hanging out, more crab nets laying on the deck and the area by the fish cleaning station sagging down to the water. I sent the property management company, Beach Box, a message informing them of the conditions and sent multiple photos. I got a timely response. In a brief phone conversation was told they would see about getting the housekeeping crew to come by and they would let me know when that would happen. I did NOT receive a text, email or phone call after that. I have more photos.

The house was in a perfect place! Unfortunately we made it in after 8 PM, but other than that it was a great experience, the kitchen & the whole house was very spacious and very clean. We really enjoyed the view and our friends had a good time grilling just a relaxing time. We’ll go back in the near future.

We had a great stay and truly enjoyed our time! The house was the perfect size for our group of 16, plenty of space for everyone. It was clean and well-kept. We did notice a few roaches during our stay, but given the home’s location right by the water, that was understandable. It seemed like they came in from outside, especially since we saw some near the pier as well. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. Just a heads-up: there aren’t many stores nearby, so plan ahead and bring what you need!
