'Just Beachy' Beachfront Home In Sea Isle

Welcome to 'Just Beachy'. Just Beachy is a Beachfront home on the Gulf of Mexico in Sea Isle neighborhood in Galveston, Texas. This home is located on the west end of the island in a quiet area of the beach remote from public access. View from the deck is a breathtaking 180 degree view directly onto the beach. The beach is out your back door. Enjoy beautiful sunrises while drinking your coffee on the deck from the bar height table and chairs that see over the deck railing.

This cute and cozy home makes the most of it's 1152 sq ft with an open plan and unique bathroom arrangement. Master Bath has sink open to bedroom with separate toilet and shower. Main Bath has two sinks open to hallway with separate toilet and shower. Master Bedroom has a King Bed. One of the bedrooms has a queen and a twin bed. The other bedroom has a twin bunks and twin bed for a total of 3. Kitchen is well equipped and there is a laundry closet with upright washer and dryer.

Underneath the House: There is an outdoor shower that is great. Pavers are located under the house to be soft on your feet. A picnic table is provided along with an array of beach toys located in the toy bin. Sea Isle has a public pool and boat access to the bay.

We now have Wi-Fi.

Please note that VRBO only collects the 6% State of Texas Hotel tax. The City of Galveston also has a 9% Hotel tax. We have recently increased our rates to also include the 9% City of Galveston Hotel tax to eliminate the need for another charge.

This was a great spot for a cozy and affordable stay at the coast. We enjoyed quiet beach hikes daily and at night. The water was cool and fun for the kids and the kid in all of us. We felt safe and secure. There were plenty of chairs for our group of six. The stair railings were new and smooth and appreciated.

We had a fantastic time at this little beach bungalow. The location is PERFECT. It's definitely what you're paying for here. You walk straight out onto the little sand trail to the beach, and this particular stretch of beach is quiet and lovely. We absolutely loved how close it was to some fun restaurants and only 30 minutes from downtown Galveston. The house itself could use some love- the bathrooms are in need of updating and there is a general sense that it needs a really good cleaning, but the manager was very kind and easy to work with, and everything worked as it was supposed to. The best part is watching the sun set from the back porch. Overall a great choice if you're not too much of a snob (as I am) about the space itself.

This property was all that was promised in the listing. We had a great view of the beach with a very short walk to the water. The home was clean, updated, and comfortable. Even though we were there the first week of October, the weather was still quite warm, so the air conditioning proved to be more than efficient! The host was responsive and available for questions by email. We appreciated the covered parking under the home. We will definitely seek out this property for another stay on the island.

This is an older home that is decorated in a charming beach decor. it is right on the beach with beautiful view.My family loved the place and we had a wonderful time stepping out on the beach with bogie boards and kites.The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook. Oh, there is a super nice outdoor shower. We used it everyday, that way you don't drag sand in the house. There is a balcony that runs accross the back of the house. I had my morning coffee there everyday. I saw a rabbit with her 2 babies in the little field below. it was a pleasant surprise. We stayed 10 days and both granddaughters were disappointed when we left. I would rent again.

This was our 6th summer staying at Just Beachy for our beach week vacay. As always it is a very enjoyable week at a great house. We appreciate that the basic amenities are available so we can start the fun as soon as we arrive. The location on the beach front, the close little grocery store, make everything very accessible. The house has pretty much everything needed for a vacation week, and we always appreciate the bag of “goodies” with paper goods and laundry and dish washer detergent. We noticed the new washer and dryer, very nice! Thank you for sharing your beach house!!

This was our 2nd visit to Just Beachy but our 1st visit during peak season. The beach was empty in the most relaxing way, neighbors were calm and private, the house was stocked and clean. It was truly such an extremely relaxing stay that when we ventured to the sea wall, we were shocked at how many people were actually in Galveston. 10/10 love this home.

Excellent communication and response from owner and property management. Swift resolution of minor issues. Super clean property and well equipped. Great location and short, easy driving distance to the hustle & bustle of Galveston. We have stayed in MANY rentals on the island the past 30 years and my husband and I agree this is our favorite. We will be back soon!

Girls Trip

We had a great time at Just Beachy! Four very close friends so it was no problem for us to share some space. Enjoyed the deck. Was a so windy but apparently April is normally that way. Views were beautiful but it wasn’t enjoyable to be on the beach because of the wind. Nothing to do with the house. House itself had everything we needed and would definitely recommend it maybe at a different time of year.

Great Stay- Beachfront Location Unbeatable

This house fit our needs very well, considering we were vacationing with a baby and a toddler. Plenty of space, easy to keep clean, lots of dishes for us to use for snack times and a safe balcony for them to enjoy the ocean from. Most finishings inside and outside the home are well-loved but functional and clean. It felt more cozy and personal, less like you had to walk around the house on pins and needles afraid to relax in the sterile museum environment. We were definitely able to loosen up and enjoy the AMAZING location of this home. We came to look forward the drive into Galveston proper as a time to crank up the music and just chill, and appreciated the slower pace on this side of the island. Tips: Walk the beach often if you love seashells. Beautiful and big ones washed ashore every day. Wear shoes outside in the yard, there are stickers. I would imagine chemical treatments are a no no to maintain the safe home for critters in the dune area, so I would not expect those to go away or ask for them to be removed. And finally, for the perfect no-fuss beach day order food to-go from the West End Marina Restaurant which is a mile down the road, and bring it back to the house to enjoy with a view of the beach or out on the beach. Everything we had from there was awesome. We took to-go twice and dined in there once. We would stay here again, perhaps even longer than a week.

Beautiful home

House was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Bathrooms are on the small side but not an issue. Porch was perfect for sitting and having breakfast every morning while enjoying the waves from the Gulf. Only negative is the trash that flows in from the Gulf and lands on the beach but this is not against the house owner at all. Loved seeing wildlife in the yard. Would definitely stay again and refer friends.

Just Beachy- A New Home Away From Home

This stay was so relaxing and so needed for our family. We are in our mid-thirties with a 12 and 10 year old and stayed in late March for reference. This house was stocked with everything we needed. Pots and pans, bowls, cups, hair dryers, first aid kits, beach toys, beach chairs, storage space, board games, movies, everything! It’s a fully ready to stay in home instead of a sterile hotel/motel where everything is nailed down. This reminded me of staying at your great aunts house who lives at the beach. We felt taken care of, safe and happy while we were at just beachy. The neighborhood is away from the hustle and bustle which was a major plus for us. You can still drive into town fairly easily but the beaches were calm and full of seashells and wildlife. We may have seen 10 other families while at the beach. Within our first hour at Just Beachy, we requested to add on an additional night and before the first night was over, we booked a short trip in Early June. We throughly enjoyed our time at Just Beachy and will continue to come back year after year. I’m so glad this house was available and I already can’t wait to come back soon!

Heavenly!

Everything about this rental was heavenly! The location and the porch are absolutely perfect! We spent as much time on the front porch as we did on the beach! The shade on the top deck was perfect but during the heat of the day you can still enjoy the view under the house on the nice deck area. These hosts have it all there for you! Fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds extra pillows and blankets, pool chairs and toys and so much out door seating! Everything about our stay was fabulous. This part of the beach is kept pristine by the entire community and there is no driving in front of the house. It could not be any better than this honestly! We will return!
