Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay at the 1890 Freeman House. We stayed in the Fredericksburg room. The room had enough space to spread out a little and was beautiful. There were nice coffee and tea options in the shared kitchen for breakfast. The shared living room was the perfect spot to read and enjoy our coffees! The check-in directions were clear and easy to follow. The location was close to several restaurants and the cruise ports. Shannon, the owner, was helpful and friendly. If we’re ever in Galveston again, we would love to stay at the 1890 Freeman House again!

The 1890 Freeman House is a beautifully updated, elegant house. Our room had everything we needed and we had access to a fully stocked kitchen with coffee and tea service. We stayed at the 1890 Freeman House for one night before leaving on a cruise. The house was very nice and well maintained. It was within walking distance from several bars and restaurants in the historic area. The hospitality was amazing and made you feel like you were staying with friends. We look forward to our next visit.
