I was abit sceptical because of the huge discounts and it was also my first time booking using the Wotif app. But the place looked so clean and luxurious! I just loved my stay at the Dorsett, clean, comfortable hotel with staff that went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one. I loved the cafe & lollie bar, also given bottles of water at checkin, the vouchers I received for not getting the room serviced each day were put to good use at the cafe. The Dorsett is so close to the convention centre & Pacific fair also the transport links it makes so convenient. Breakfast was amazing just about everything on the buffet, I will definitely be back.

While the room was fine and the view was nice, we got there fifteen minutes before check-in and were told they would call us when our room was ready, so we went to the pool for a bit to kill time but when came back to reception after an hour as we still hadn't received a call. When we got to the front desk our room was ready but no explanation was provided as to why we didn't receive a call. Our room was reasonable but I couldn't see any extra blankets, there were also no robes and I couldn't see a hairdryer either. We also saw a small cockroach in the bathroom! The good - our room was quiet, the heated pool on level 6 is lovely and the buffet breakfast at Harvest is excellent.
