Santana Holiday Resort is conveniently located at the southern end of central Surfers Paradise with its close proximity to the Gold Coast Convention Centre & is approx 1 hour south of Brisbane International Airport. Another option is to fly direct to Coolangatta Airport in Gold Coast to reach Surfers Paradise, about 1/2 hour drive with a distance of 20 km. My time shared unit is a 1 bedroom type with a balcony & has a sofa bed at living hall which can accomodates 4 persons comfortably.A stone's throw away is the Jupiter's Casino, Patrolled beaches, Cascade Gardens, Majestical Hinterland & the 3 worlds(Movie,Dream & the Sea) are situated nearby!Facilities - swimming pool, heated spa, tropical landscaped gardens, gazebos, security parking, BBQ facilities,games room, public transport-bus stop nearby less than 500 metres which can also be taken to go to airport & theme parks. The apartment also offers complimentary Foxtel. Full tour destinations & car rental available.Unit Amenities - airconditioner ,color tv, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, cloth dryer, full kitchen- cooking allowed.
Toiletries limited to initial supply - 4 Towels & 1 roll toilet paper. Additional toiletries available for purchase.
For check in , a refundable security deposit of AUD 200 is required.Upon acceptance of your booking request, you have to provide me your personal particulars for issuing your check in confirmation slip.
My time-share unit is manage & maintained by Santana Holiday Resort.. For late check-in after 5 pm & check-in on saturday after 12 pm/sunday, a late check-in fee aud 10 require to pay at reception. Need to inform reception in advance expected arrival time for late check-in whereby check-in is by appointment only. There is a Bond policy for Schoolies whereby AUD 200 bond will be charge for each person and you will be able to claim approximately 10 days after you check out. There are also 2 ceiling fans, 1 in bedroom & 2nd in living hall.

Beautiful stay

Nice spot, lovely pool, friendly manager. Just what we needed for us to sleep and eat and relax around our Christmas adventures. I would stay here again if needed in the future.

The room was nice for three people, however, I have a family of 4 and when booking this accommodation we were told that it would accommodate 4 of us, but when we entered the room there were two single beds pushed together and a pull out lounge which left us confused on how it would accommodate 4 people. If we needed extra essentials and supplies, like blankets, towels or garbage bags you would need to pay an extra fee. When cleaning the accommodation to leave it in a clean condition we found a lack of cleaning supplies which made it hard for us to clean (no mop and no vaccum). We also found a lack of instructions on how the owner wanted the accommodation upon leaving; like where to put dirty towels and blankets. My two children are opposite genders and found it quite awkward having to share a bed for a week, the pull out lounge would be good for children who are the same gender but say they were a little older they would not be able to fit in such a small pull out bed, the kids bags were also put right next to the bed because of the lack of space in the room. The wifi in the room would also cut out often, when my son was watching TV he would often just turn it off because of how much the TV would cut out. However, There were available cooking utensils that were helpful to my wife and she was happy with that. Overall, the room is good for 2-3 people but anymore than that gets uncomfortable.

Car parking very difficult, bay 15 next to 4!!!! bathroom very dated, wood cupboards etc falling to bits, felt unclean, bedroom ok! lack of privacy due to frosted glass window in bathroom out onto passage and other apartments doors!! other people directly outside, cockroaches in kitchen, at most a 2 star if desparate.

What i didnt like is how dirty and not looked after is the apartment there was mould on the roof in the bathroom and kitchen, bathroom the cupboards where falling apart looks nothing the advertised in last minute.com.au

Good location but outdated

location of the property is good, the apartment smelled like a wet dog which could have been maybe a wet carpet on a closed apartment in a hot weather, we just opened the windows and turned on the fans. Strange that a holiday resort property apartment does not have an air conditioner! The bathroom-laundry is outdated with rotten cupboards with a very narrow shower. We got roaches in the kitchen and bathroom so we had to get it sprayed from the front desk. The bathroom requires an extractor fan and also the dryer has no vent outside so all moisture stays in the bathroom as we had to wash the bed lining as the apartment is not serviced at all in the 8 days we stayed. Is a bit inconvenient to have only one key to enter the building and enter exit the parking when you have teenagers that want to go to the pool while you go out. The complex is small and basically neighbours can be heard talking from their balconies as seems so line permanently there. Will we like to stay there again? Don't think so.

Poor standards

I would not stay in this unit again. It is desperately in need of an upgrade and was not clean on arrival. Very disappointing and expected better on stayz.
