Nestled in the serene Sun Valley area of Grand Lake, this charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin is the perfect retreat for families, groups, and outdoor lovers. With direct lake access, a private dock, two kayaks and a canoe available to guests, you’ll have the perfect spot to enjoy the best of lakeside living.

Fishing enthusiasts, take note! The lake is private - only owners and renters are allowed to fish here (catch and release only). Whether you're casting a line from the dock or heading out in a kayak, you're in for a rewarding day on the water and maybe a bragging story or two.

Step inside to find a beautifully updated space complete with brand new carpet, inviting furnishings, cozy décor, and a fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to settle in and feel right at home. The warm living area invites you to unwind after a day of adventure, while the large windows bring in plenty of natural light and stunning views.

This cabin comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests with a king bed and two twin-over-queen bunk beds in the primary bedroom, and a queen bed in the second bedroom, offering plenty of space for everyone. The kids will be sure to enjoy a PlayStation with classic games available as well. Don't forget your furry companion!

During the summer months, Sun Valley is a haven for moose! Enjoy waking up to the fresh mountain air, sip your morning coffee on the deck, and spend your days exploring Grand Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park (under a 5-minute drive from the home), and nearby hiking trails.
*Winter offers snowmobile access right from the home directly to miles of snowmobile trails! *No need to trailer in*!

* This home is located in the fire zone from the East Troublesome Fire in 2020, which took most of the homes in Sun Valley. The area is rebuilding, but large portions of our trees are sadly gone. The spirit of Grand Lake is strong, and the recovery process is well under way! The vegetation is returning, and we continue to recover and tell our story of surviving the 2nd largest wildfire in US history*

- **Because of the remote mountain location and proximity to the wilderness, there is higher iron content in
the water, which can leave an orange residue. It is safe but not everyone is accustomed to it. We do recommend purchasing bottled water for your visit.

This was a wonderful, family place to stay. The kids were outside most of the time. They loved the lake, kayaking and fishing everyday they were there.

This cabin in Grand Lake is an excellent option for group/family getaways! The property is secluded away from the hustle and bustle of down-town Grand Lake, and features a beautiful private lake that is perfect for fishing, paddle-boarding, and kayaking/canoeing. The fishing is excellent, we caught plenty of rainbow trout. We had an amazing time at the property, it was clean when we arrived, easy to check in and out of, and they provided us with all of the kitchen utensils and toiletry stuff that we needed. It was just as advertised, the property is directly on a private lake that isn’t busy. The beds were comfy for everyone, and we all slept great too. I would definitely come back here with family and friends for another stay.

What an absolutely amazing place to stay! Our family and friends loved the cabin, the lake, the area!!! It's quiet.. peaceful.. but only 10 minutes away from the Grand Lake town center. And all the wildlife, my goodness - more hummingbirds then I could count!! My son, an avid fisherman at 14, was fishing every minute he could! We'd have to make him take meal and water breaks! Haha The cabin itself was cozy and had everything we needed and more! We truly did not want to leave! A little slice of heaven! We will definitely be coming back!

Perfect romantic or family getaway

This cabin was perfect for us and the rental company made everything simple. Lots of space for family to sleep if you need it. You could comfortably sleep 8-10, but the common areas might get a tight with more than 5. We utilized eveeything this cabin had to offer. From fishing the private CATCH AND RELEASE lake, kayaking, grilling nightly, camp fires, to just relaxing with a show and watching the scenery. We did have a bull moose visit the property in the afternoon. Walked right by the deck and out into the water for an amazing view. We will be back!
