Stayed for two nights to attend a wedding. Hotel and rooms were very clean. It was a lovely, intimate venue for a small wedding. Reception food and service was excellent. Enjoyed drinks and meals in the bar restaurant. Smash burger was delicious and the waiter was fun. Buffet breakfast included cereals, fruit, bread, cold boiled eggs, etc. Would have enjoyed some hot breakfast choices too. Stayed in the Stan Lee theme room. It was clean and cozy with a double bed, small table and chair and coffee maker. Would have appreciated a fridge. The tiny bathroom had a pedestal sink with a narrow shelf above it (not much room for toiletries). Bedding was soft and comfortable. Sadly, wasn't able to get much sleep due to noise from the hallway, other rooms, smokers gathered around the outdoor patio and the noisy heating system in the room. Found the room hot at times except near the long, narrow window that emitted a cold draft. The bathtub had no safety bar or bathmat (have to request one). Very noisy pipes. The water would turn off midstream and then come back on with hot water only. Reported the issue to the reception staff at check out. Didn't personally experience it but other hotel guests said that their rooms were haunted. Lots of strange things going on. Probably just old building issues. Staff mentioned that the hotel changed ownership last November and will be undergoing lots or renovations soon. Enjoyed the beautiful wedding, excellent food and fun times.
