"It was clean. Room very comfortable. Snack food was large varity & plentiful & tasted verry good. Large varity of people families, workers, couples of all ages. Staff vey welcoming & knowledgeable.& .& helpful. We could not stay.for breakfast. Sure it was good also. Entrance doors to hotel locked 8pm till 8am with only room key to go in or out. Add to safety of hotel."

"We were pleased with the size of the room. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. Limited number of restaurants within walking distance. We had one meal in the hotel restaurant which was very good but perhaps lacked atmosphere due to the lack of patrons. We also ate at Tio Javis which we could walk to.The food was good but the restaurant was very busy so would recommend booking in advance. "

"This grand old classic is well worth the money. Recently upgraded, the service is amazing and the rooms are wonderful. You are right on the Mississippi and near the Old Capitol. Also to far from the LSU campus. Great for walking. Loved our stay!"

"I needed an accessible room with roll in shower. The rooms was no longer available. Vanessa called me and made sure we were able to be comfortable during our stay. I am unsure of the floor of my original reservation, but was very pleased with the concierge room with lounge. The attendant there was very kind . We enjoyed the breakfast. We didnt get to enjoy the snacks although they were included as well. Housekeeping was good and fast when we requested additional towels. The only thing that bothered me wasbthe girl working when I checked in and when I had to checknin again after my original reservation expired. When checking in, I asked if it would be a nice room. She and another worker rolled their eyes and snickered. Im not sure why, but it was an uncomfortable feeling. She also did the same when i came down for towels and water my last night. The manager on duty my last day was great too."
