Iconic Ilikai Hotel #1004. Newly Renovated One Bedroom Unit!

The Ilikai Apartment Building (same as the Hotel) is one of Oahu's most popular vacation rental condos. Built in 1964 but constantly being updated and maintained in the common areas, many people including myself cannot believe the building was built over half a century ago. This unit, #1004 offers magnificent ocean views, and 2 pools, and the beach is conveniently away. Many great restaurants are within walking distance including the Food Pantry grocery store for travelers who prefer to cook.

If you would like us to guarantee your early check in, we will need to ask you to book a day earlier as well to secure that date.

If you plan on renting a car, we suggest contacting the hotel for the valet parking rates. The last time I checked the parking rates were $45/day. There is also public paid parking along the boat harbor with a rate of $1/hour.
If you only need a car for one day, some of our guests have rented a car just for the day from the car rental facilities in Waikiki, but make reservations in advance as they get rented quickly.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE — July 9, 2025**
Starting the week of July 28, 2025, a licensed contractor will begin spalling repairs and full exterior painting of the building. Balcony access and use for this condo will be restricted from January - April 2026 (approx. dates).
Construction noise will be limited to 9 AM – 5 PM per house rules. Guests can use lanais after 5 PM once contractors finish for the day.

Clean safe/secure building. Stunning view every day, clean new upgraded condo. TV was great-especially during the Olympics, Air conditioner was amazing. We have stayed at the Ilikai numerous times and love it there.Thank you!

Very nice , clean, comfortable, updated apartment. Great location for walking about Waikiki. Host had excellent communication. Enjoyed the view from the balcony. Everything was wonderful. Studio very clean beautiful view. My only negative was the bathroom towels were stained and washcloth’s look like someone had cleaned their shoes. May benefit from some bleach or new towels. Only one hand towel for 8 days. Also no shower soap. Had to go out and purchase but otherwise a wonderful comfortable place to stay. Thank you.

We stayed for 5 nites and really liked the location, the hotel and employees. The unit we stayed in needed quite a bit of attention. The bathroom sink cabinet was falling a part corners totally exposing the pressboard and bottom was also worn down. Light switch when you first walk in dither had reside or was softof melded would only cost less than 5.00 thewas

The Condo was clean. We had a Wonderful stay here & would do it again! the balcony had beautiful views of the boat harbor & Ocean.The Sunsets were Spectacular!The Condo does need some updates.Like furniture & pots & pans. But the bed was comfortable for the 2 weeks that we were there.

Comfortable, but could use updating.

This place suited our needs, especially for its location. It would have been nice to have a table we could eat at and a dish drainer for drying washed dishes. Also the lanai had of old bird poop on it and we usually like to eat our breakfast out there.

Perfect!

This is a large studio apartment, with the ability to separate the bedroom and living area. It is a little dated, but who cares, it is clean and the location is perfect. The balcony is large and has beautiful views of Marina, ocean and sunset. It is just a short walk to the beach, lagoon, Ala Moana Park and the mall. The little coffee shop on site offers delicious coffee and breakfasts, for those who don’t want to cook. We look forward to return stays here.

Like the overall location because everything you need and want is in walkable distant. Safe area to be in since it’s mostly tourists there and that it’s beachfront. Easy access to ride share pick up and drop off.

Beautiful location

The location and communication with the property manager were great, and having the little kitchen made travelling with kids so much easier. It took us a while to figure out the temperature calibration in the shower, and we were missing a few odds and ends in the kitchen, but overall, we were happy with our stay.

Was there for business. The hotel is awesome and has a wonderful view and coffee/breakfast place. The room is below par. The wall paper in the bathroom is dirty and stained. The bed is poor and the bedding is even cheaper. Is need of a good deep cleaning. Unfortunately the elevator was broken and i had take the stairs multiple times. The resturante at the roof top is awesome with a wonderful bar menu.
