Basic rooms, but clean!

You are right in the middle of the main strip near the harbor and Alamoana Shopping Center. Plenty of shops, restaurants and activities. The hotel is very basic (and outdated), but clean! And the price was reasonable.

What an outstanding stay! The room was clean, well stocked and super comfortable. Staff members were warm, welcoming and very responsive to all requests. The resort was quiet and conducive to great sleep. Food in the hotel restaurants was superb. Book it! You will not be disappointed!

Amazing stay! Highly recommend doing the valet overnight parking for the entire stay.. it was so convenient to just come and go and staff is so quick and friendly. Will def be staying here again :)

Everything about this property was awesome! Waikiki beach is walking distance, the shops are nearby and the property itself has shops. The only thing the sheets did have a funky smell… besides that the staff was great, everything else was great! Will definitely come again.

Illikai Getaway

If you like to be away from all the hustle and bustle of Waikiki’s main strip, this is a great spot. Also next to the Hilton, with the lagoon and fireworks on Friday nights. The beaches around the property are much less crowded than over by the main strip. Bring your water shoes because there are a lot of small coral rocks on the sea bed. If you’re there in the summer, you won’t see great sunsets because of the obstructed view of the marina and landscape but if you head down to the main beach about a 15 to 20 minute walk, you can see the sunset well. The Waikiki Marina resort staff are friendly and very helpful. The housekeeping staff is also very diligent and kind. We rented a vehicle and parked at the marina, which is a dollar an hour, much more reasonable than parking in the valet or hotel Parkade. Having the kitchen is a bonus as well to prepare breakfast, go back to your hotel for lunch when you are on the beach nearby or to keep a good supply of water in your refrigerator. The rooms are adequately stocked with hotel amenities like shampoo and cream and body wash. Coffee, sugar, filters, salt and pepper., but do not expect umbrellas in beach chairs as these are not privately owned suites like others in the building. We had a studio with a city view, which proved to be quite noisy at night, but a pair of ear plugs solved that pretty easily.
