We have been staying at this property yearly for a few years. The location is excellent on the lake, the beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly. However, the property needs of some major renewal. Some effort has been made, like new washbasin in our bathroom, but not enough. The window installed AC is so noisy that we have been blessed with cool weather and did not need it. The Inn has definitely seen better days and showing it. As it stands I would be hesitant to recommend it.

Our stay was beyond our expectations. The staff was very kind and helpful. Even though it was a room, it felt like a small apartment, with everything we needed to eat simple meals. We had a great balcony which we used a lot. The pool area looked good, but we didn’t go in. We would definitely come back.

Joel is the kindest person. Great little place. Beds aren’t comfy is my only complaint. But the rest is great and the pool was very clean and refreshing.

The room was clean and had everything you would need for your stay. The only thing I would comment on is the attitude during the check in process. Overall, did not feel welcomed because of some miscommunication in the payment process. But other than that, the atmosphere was very much worth it.

Amazing location, good price, horrible beds!

The Inn is placed right on the waterside, so the location is amazing and you can even RENT canoes from them right on the spot for a fair price. The staff are super helpful, always smiling and eager to help. But there are some big problems inside the rooms. The Beds are absolutely terrible. We had severe back pains after our 4 days of sleeping in those bad beds. They make use of Indoor portable air conditioning, so the compressor is inside the room and VERY LOUD. It added to making the night sleep horrible. Finally if you visit in the summer, don't imagine that you will have a wonderful time enjoying their massive property because the mosquitoes and horse flies will be biting hard! They have a very nice pool, and also an awesome dining area outdoor. They don't serve food but you can make your own barbeque, etc.

What a beautiful suite! There were 6 of us staying - 3 adults & 3 kids & there was lots of space for us - 2 queen beds in the bedroom & a single bed plus pull out couch in the livingroom. Our 3 night stay turned into 4 nights due to car trouble & luckily our suite was available so we were able to stay the additional night. There is a full kitchen with a nice dining table & chairs, we brought groceries & snacks, which saved us money on takeout food & we could also eat healthier. All dishes, pots & pans, cutlery, etc were provided. They also have propane bbq’s for guests to use, which we did one night. The view from our balcony was of the lake & was absolutely gorgeous. The weather was perfect while we were there, lots of sunshine but low humidity. There’s a room a/c unit installed in the kitchen area which made it very comfortable. The only real downside was having only 1 bathroom when there were so many of us but we made do! Internet was a little unreliable but was not really a big deal, there was a tv but that didn’t work when the Internet was down. Since we weren’t there to watch tv it wasn’t a big inconvenience. Also, the pool closes at 8pm but we stayed about 15 minutes past 8:00 one evening, as we had gotten back from our adventures a little later that day, and nobody bothered us. Joel checked us in & helped throughout our stay with anything we needed & he was awesome! I recommend this property & we will probably look at staying again next family trip to Muskoka.
