DETAILS: ONE OF A KIND!!! Magnificent two story townhouse with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths located on Lower Matecumbe in Islamorada. Sandglass is a four-unit condo complex. This unit offers 180 degree ocean views and is situated on a large lagoon which opens to the Florida Bay. Bring your boat and water toys. Swim, paddleboard or kayak right from the property. There's a private boat ramp on site, fish cleaning table, designated boat slip and room to park your trailer. Inside you will love the spacious air-conditioned living area with plenty of room for everyone in your party to gather. Sliding glass doors disappear into the wall opening the area to an enormous screened balcony overlooking the cove. There is an exceptional amount of seating - inside and out - providing a comfortable place for everyone. The super large kitchen with huge center island is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, flatware, cooking utensils and everything you need to prepare a quick snack or a gourmet meal.

There are 3 spacious bedrooms on the main living level and a dramatic curved staircase leading to the open loft and 2 more bedrooms and another bathroom. This is the first time this property has been offered for rent. Bedding is king, king, king, queen, full/twin and full/twin bunks in the 5th bedroom. This property requires a $1500 refundable Security Deposit in addition to the rent. This property is professionally managed by Keys Holiday Rentals.

This was a very comfortable home to relax and unwind, inside in the living space or on the spacious screened porch. It was close to many good restaurants. We enjoyed Anne's Beach and Sombrero Beach. Although getting to Marathon was slowed down due to roadwork. But that can happen anywhere. Trip to Key West was fun too and not that far. Islamorada is nicely located on the Keys. Kathy was responsive to a concern we had about a bathroom. We appreciated that.

7 days not enough! Everyday got better ! Huge well laid out house for a bunch of people.The keys have always been on of the most beautiful places on earth ! Stay here you will never forget it. If you like watching stars, this is the place.

Family trip to the Keys!

Our family loved staying at this home. We had plenty of room and the kitchen is well stocked with anything you need for cooking. The outdoor areas were my favorite. You can choose to sun or shade. My only complaint was the weather. Wish it had been warmer since we were escaping the Midwest winter.

Keys rental

Great house, very clean and very big. Only issue we had was the AC unit did not work at all in the master bedroom and one other bedroom. That was very disappointing because owner knew the AC was not doing good and we payed a lot for this house. AC repairman came and said new unit needed. This time of year you have to have good AC.

We had numerous issues with the property all of which have been communicated and several with pictures. Our agent Jessica was very nice and tried hard to fix or have fixed what she could which we appreciate. The fact we had to put up with a jackhammer and construction outside our back porch everyday all week, questionable structural integrity post removing concrete on the support pillars, a shower that did not work which raises the question if it was cleaned before our arrival, queen sheets on a king bed, burnt out or nonoperative lights...We have not received or had acknowledged our request for a major discount.
