"I grew up in Seaside Park on Bayview Avenue. This location is better. Looking down Island Beach and seeing both the Ocean and the Bay is serene. Sleeping with the windows open and hearing the ocean all night is the best way to sleep. The private beach is the best. No other place on the East Coast is better."

"It's been a decade since I have been to the Windjammer, but after my stay it feels like I never stopped going. It's been a tradition in my family to go once a year for a week during the summer when I was a kid from 3 years old to 23. Now I am 33, with kids of my own... And I'm so back! It's just like I remembered, the rooms have been updated a little, new countertops in the suites and a bigger fridge, new couch and new beds. All welcome changes. Some minor issues like a very small trace of mold above the shower head. But aside from that the room was clean, and comfortable for what it is! I loved my stay, the staff, the guests, everyone was a joy to be around and food at the windjammer is always a hit for me! I'll be back next year!"
