The place to stay at Fernandina Island—great location; must eat at Sandbar restaurant next to hotel; wonderful spacious suite with balcony and side view of beach; friendly and easy check-in, free parking, complimentary chocolate cookies, complimentary breakfast.

Very convent to the beach and two great restaurants. Breakfast was average nothing great ran out of everything so had to wait about 20-30mins to refill food. Had an issue with our TV not working so the front desk clerk called an old co-worker of hers that used to work there but had been laid off to come fix our TV. Which to us was totally wrong because he didn’t get paid for the hour and half that he spent trying to fix our TV and had he not been able to fix it we were told there was no other room we could be moved to. Bed was super old felt like our feet was higher then our heads. The toiletries where not filled so we had to raid the housekeepers cart out in the hallway for body soap and shampoo

Hotel was clean and in good shape. Room was very small but adequate for us. Breakfast was very good and had a decent variety. The only bad thing i can say is that the bed was pretty hard. Very good restaurant next door too
