Discover this spacious, renovated 3 bedroom/3.5 bathroom Shipwatch Villa on the south end of Amelia Island! 1379 Shipwatch overlooks the ocean and green space in the Shipwatch Villas, a nicely manicured complex in the exclusive, gated Amelia Island Plantation community. Look no further for the perfect place for your next visit to our enchanted island!

Updated throughout, this villa is laid out over two levels, with three bedrooms and three attached full bathrooms on the lower level. On the upper level is the living and dining area, along with a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy beautiful Atlantic Ocean views from the main level and the attached private balcony.

The kitchen has been tastefully designed and is fully equipped with everything needed for meal preparation during your visit. Enjoy the new appliances, cabinets, and countertops.

The King Beds in two of the bedrooms and two Queen Beds in the third bedroom provide ample sleeping arrangements. In addition, this villa also features two sets of bunk beds (a total of 4 twin beds) on the lower level for extra sleeping space. All fresh bed linens are provided for our guests, along with bath and beach towels.

With this rental, guests enjoy access to the spacious Shipwatch complex pool, which is seasonally heated and just a short walk away. It offers a large deck with plenty of shade and a community grilling area.

Guests can also enjoy the miles of walking and biking trails in the Amelia Island Plantation (AIP.) This sprawling 1,340-acre gated community is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches.

Dining, shopping, and spa services are offered nearby at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP. The closest golf courses are Little Sandy and Oak Marsh but there are many other nice courses in the area.

As part of this rental, a custom digital guestbook is provided with thorough property information and a local area guide sharing our favorite restaurants, attractions, and more! Excitingly, our guests are also eligible to receive a 15% discount on beach gear rentals.

Annual Beach Trip

For the last several years myself, sister n law and best friend have taken our kids on a mommy and me beach trip. Finding a space that allows us to stay together and have easy access to the beach and pool is so important and this location did it all!! The condo was clean and provided so much to make our stay unforgettable.

Ladies Retreat

A group of 9 JSL ladies had a fun weekend getaway here on Amelia Island. We loved everything about it, but there were a few minor hiccups. The oven takes a LONG time to preheat, but the kitchen was very well equipped for our needs. I wish there had been a TV in the third bedroom like there was in the other two, also in that bedroom, the curtain did not cover the windows sufficiently. However, for a large group, it was a perfect place to stay and we would recommend it!!!

Great family weekend

Really nice family vacation home. It was great that each of the bedrooms had their own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to prepare meal for family of 8. Round dining table was large enough for 8 - even though there are only 6 chairs, we used the barstools for our granddaughters. Nice table for games in the evenings. Great location - short walk to the beach. Pool was clean but really cold. We would definitely rent here again.

Spectacular Weather

After finally figuring out which building to get in to, we entered the condo and discovered the beautiful view. We’ve been to Amelia Island several times but really enjoyed this particular location because of the pool, easy beach access and outdoor grills. The condo itself offered the space we needed for our family.

Beautiful beachfront location

We rented this property for the Easter holiday. Beautiful location, we loved having coffee and seeing the ocean every morning. Looks just like the listing pictures. Unit did not have beach chairs. (We flew there so we could not bring our own.). Rental company was wonderful to work with and highly recommend.

Toes in the Sand

Wonderful property with updated furnishings and appliances. Well stocked kitchen dishes, glasses, and cookware. Absolutely beautiful views of the ocean and fairly easy access to the ocean. Communication with Destination Amelia was fantastic even after the hurricane went through the area less than a week before our stay. Lots of steps as described online. Note: elevator does not go directly to floor unit is on as you must climb another 1/2 flight of stairs to access unit once exiting elevator. If in the area I would definitely book this unit again.

We loved this unit!!!

This was a great unit for all of us ages 82-1!!! There were more steps than we knew and my 82 year old mom decided to come at the last minute but she made it and enjoyed every minute!! Unit was one of the most well stocked unit we have rented!

Everything was as listed. Right on the beach. Place was so roomy and there was plenty of linens, accommodations and supplies. A big plus was there are actually two balconies. One in the living room and another in one of the master bedrooms. Having four bathrooms was a huge benefit. Loves the place.
