Great location for l'Escala and coastal walks

We have mainly good things to say about the property, but we also have a few disappointments we should mention. Firstly the location is excellent. It was a short walk (about 15 minutes) into l'Escala where the sea-fronted old town is full of interesting shops, tapas bars and restaurants. From the villa it is also easy to walk along a delightful coastal path, past the Greek and Roman ruins of Empuries, and in 25 minutes arrive at St Marti d'Empuries (good restaurants). There are many sandy beaches and coves along the way, with a few beach cafes as well. The first beach you pass on this path, also seemed to be dog friendly. The villa itself was clean and well prepared for our visit. The little garden and patio were excellent for sitting and eating outside, with a retractable canopy that could be used to shield the outside table and chairs form the sun.The large clean garage easily held two cars. There were six adults in our party and I would have thought that would be the sensible maximum number the villa would take with comfort. It is advertised to hold up to 8 or 10 people, and it does have beds for this, but the small kitchen, and lounge area will mean the place would feel very crowded. There were, for example only 4 interior dining chairs and TV seating for 4 people. The absence of an electric kettle made heating water on the cooker a slow process. The dedicated shower room is very small, although the larger upstairs bathroom also has a shower over the bath. Overall we had a very good short holiday and enjoyed our stay at the villa, but had there been 10 of us, things would have beenfar less pleasing.

Nice Location

Hi, we travelled with One older kid as well as with 2 little dogs. The house is very convenient, easy to use, with a nice small garden. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is nice , close to the old town centre as well close to the beaches.

Hébergement très propre, très agréable, jardin clôturé et très bien entretenu. Le fait de pouvoir se garer dans le garage est un vrai plus. Génial de ne pas avoir à amener les draps et serviettes et ne pas avoir à faire le ménage de fin de séjour. Communication avec l'hôte parfaite. A recommander et nous y reviendrons dès que possible.

Merveilleux !

Le logement était très propre, que ce soit les draps, les meuble, sols tout était parfaitement propre. Le logement est plus spacieux qu'on peut voir sur les photos. Nous étions une familles de 6 dont 4 enfants (de 7 à 14) et on ce sentait vraiment bien dans le logement. La régions est magnifiques. Nous avions eu un soucis de chasse d'eau qui a été réglé en moins de 30mn par le propriétaire, vraiment très réactif! Tout le nécessaire pour une famille de 6 est présent, et la table de ping-pong est un plus pour les ados. Lidl et Mercadona sont accessible à pied, la plage aussi en moins de 5 mn. Vraiment une semaine parfaite !

Nice accomidation at good location.

The house was clean and had all the requirements for a nice stay with our family. The garden provides a nice place for the childeren. The house is located nearly to the beach and the centre of L'Escala. A lot of nice locations and the bay of Roses nearby.

Un casa cómoda

La casa está muy bien, tiene el garage y la entrada en un nivel y subiendo unas escaleras la entrada a la casa. Primera planta hall, baño con ducha, habitación, cocina y salón comedor. En el piso de arriba 4 habitaciones y baño con bañera. Fuimos en invierno por eso no pudimos disfrutar del jardín y la barbacoa pero también hemos comprobado que para vacaciones invernales está muy bien. La casa es acogedora, bien distribuida y cuidada. Está cerca del paseo hacia la playa del pescador, al lado de una playa. Las gasolineras y supermercados están cerca y el pueblo a 10-15 minutos caminando. Es una casa estupenda. Gracias a Rafael por atendernos tan bien. Recomendable.

Fantástica

La casa es tal como se describe en el anuncio. Disfrutamos del jardín con barbacoa enormemente. Camas suficientemente cómodas. La casa cuenta con calefacción. Muy cerca del centro y de varios supermercados, así como del camino de ronda hasta Empúries, pasando justo al lado de los restos romanos. Muy recomendable! Gracias Montse y Rafael!

Très bon séjour, maison confortable, très propre et bien équipée. Parfait pour 8 personnes ( 4 adultes et 4 enfants ). Idéalement située à 5 min de la plage, 15 min des ruines d empuries et de saint martin d empuries par sentier côtier . Commerces à proximité également.

Justo lo que buscabamos

La casa es tal y como apare en las fotos y descripcion. Tanto adultos como niños hemos disfrutado del jardin. Zona muy tranquila y muy cerca de la playa. Cocina muy bien equipada. Repetiremos!

Casa espaciosa y cómoda cerca de la playa.

Casa cómoda, espaciosa, jardín agradable con pasto, sombra y barbacoa; todo muy completo. Muy cerca de playas bonitas rocosas a pie o en bici con ciclovía, para visitar distintas playas o pasear o ir a las ruinas de Empurias. Se pueden hacer muchas cosas/visitas en bici del lado del centro o más allá (cala Bongo, etc), pero con pendientes. El centro (restaurantes, comida para levar, juegos para niños, etc) está más alejado, pero hay 2 supermercados con panaderia muy cerquita. Con familia numerosa o de a 2 familias, es ideal! La pasamos hermoso.

Vacances parfaites en famille

Maison spacieuse à la propreté irréprochable, avec un jardin plat sécurisé parfait pour les enfants donnant sur une terrasse où nous avons passé tous nos repas. 5min à pied de la plage par un chemin piéton/velo sous les pins. Quartier calme. Nous reviendrons probablement. A recommander pour les familles
