"I was worried about the cracking concrete/steel stairs up to the second floor in the building we had our room. But the room itself was fine. The staff who I saw later in the morning in the hallway was very courteous."

"Although it is old and rustic, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The view from the porch cannot be beat. We ate in the dining room. The food was delicious especially the blackberry cobbler. The service was also excellent. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Orange, VA. Mark, the desk clerk, was very friendly and helpful during our time at the hotel. Our pets enjoyed plenty of area to walk and were greeted warmly, too. The lady in the breakfast room over the weekend ensured that the food was served hot and delicious.
