"I was traveling with family and our two parrots. Reserved a room on the first floor which made it easy to bring the birds in while in their travel cages. Staff and stay was great! "

The kitchen was well equipped and the location is perfectly situated near Newport and only 30 minute from Jay Peak. Everything was spotless and comfortable and the lake views were amazing. "The host was super friendly and responsive. She even made fresh dog treats for our buddy! The only reason this stay was not a 5 was TOTALLY MY FAULT and had nothing to do with the owners or property. Unfortunately I did not research which trails and activities in the area were dog friendly and i did not ask about the entry to the home. Our dog is old and struggled going up and down the outdoor stairs. Knowing he struggles at times i should have been more proactive in my research and questions. The property is adorable with a lovely little store of all local handmade products and the chickens and goats were awesome! I would recommend to anyone who loves animals and quiet settings with beautiful views and no mobility issues!"
