Great comfortable spot

Really enjoyed the location of the place - close to restaurants and the main drag, but also tucked away from the main streets so that it’s quiet. The beds were super comfortable, and the space was very clean, and well decorated. Check in was easy, and smooth. Temperature controls worked well.

Lovely stay

The apartment is in a very convenient location while also being in a quiet neighborhood. It’s close enough to walk to Chiado, Baixa, and Alfama and it’s very luxurious. Everything you need for a stay. There was a smell coming from one of the bathrooms but turning the fan on helped. Nothing that ruined the stay by any means.

The accommodation was nice, clean and there was enough space for all of us. The reason for the low scores for check in was that the property was sold and there was a lack of communication so the free luggage storage until check in was not applicable since that was not the office of the new owner and the check in was not easy to know who to contact for entering the building and unit. We finally got in but it was more stress than expected. Hopefully it’s better for the future as everything should be connected properly with vrbo and the new owners.

Decent apt but great location if you plan to be out all day!

The location is amazing, the apartment was just ok. It was very obviously (haphazardly) built from an existing apartment to make it have more bedrooms, so the layout is a little bizarre and the living area is small if you have 8 people staying. Half the shades didn't work (they were electric) so it was also very dark in there.Further, there were no paper towels, kitchen towels, extra toilet paper etc.All in all it was fine and we were only there to sleep, so if that's your plan you're good!

Did not smell good

I took a risk on an apartment without many reviews and run by a company, and I regret it. It smelled so, so bad. I don’t know if it was mildew or mold or a sewer issue (my guess is sewer because the whole building smelled like it), but it made being there pretty unpleasant. Someone brought over air fresher a full day after I reported the issue, but it never could have masked the smell. That’s not even to mention the stains we saw on carpets and curtains throughout the place. The pros are it had 4 bedrooms as advertised, good A/C, and was really dark for sleeping.

In the Heart of it All

What a fantastic rental! We enjoyed every part of it. The location could not have been better for us. We walked to all of the different neighborhoods right from the rental (Belem, Alfama, Bairro Alto, etc). There is also two different bus stops not to far from the rental.This made it super convenient for all of us to get around. A small down side to all of this is that there is no parking at the location. If you bring a car be prepared to park in the parking garage that is not that far from the rental. Whole house had air conditioning and that was nice as it was pretty hot when we visited Our host was also amazing. Communication was spot on. Would I recommend this place to a friend, absolutely. Would I rent this same place again, absolutely. Ten out of ten for sure.
