Kalathos House was fabulous! The host was extremely welcoming, the unit was spotless and had all the essentials we needed for a very comfortable and unforgettable stay! The unit is located on a very hilly location and is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues and this should be part of the description with mention also that cabs will get you to the roadway, but not Ubers or buses. That said, we really enjoyed this central location that offered lots of site seeing opportunities within walking distance! We will certainly recommend Kalathos House to our friends and will stay here again on our next visit to Lisbon! Thank-you so much for offering such an incredible space and location for us to stay!!

Short week in Lisbon

The apartment is located near the historical center and it was very easy to find good restaurants and bars around us. We also were able to use the tram to travel in the city or the subway a bit further away. The location was easy to find but it also was uphill (as indicated in the post) so be careful if you are not ready to make efforts to go back to the apartment every day if you are not used to it. Very clean and pretty apartment, but it is very noisy, the upstairs neighbours woke up everyday at 7am and walk a lot for 1-2 hours every morning during our stay and we could hear them very clearly whether from the bedroom or from the living room. The bed creaked with every movement so overall it was pretty difficult to get a good sleep even with the use of earplugs.

Le petit patio derrière, le quartier historique, la possibilité de se rendre à pied à différents sites d'intérêt, la propreté de l'endroit, les volets. les oreillers (basse qualité), l'absence de shampoing alors que c'était sur la liste des items fournis, l'odeur de cigarette émanant parfois du couloir et d'autres unités de location (ça entrait un peu chez nous).

Diese Unterkunft punktet durch eine super Lage innerhalb der Burgmauern vom schönen Castelo-Viertel. Die Lage ist super zentral aber dennoch ruhig. Die Innenstadt als auch das historische Alfama-Viertel sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. An der Wohnung gefällt besonders der tolle Innenhof. Für zwei Personen die ein paar Tage die Stadt erkunden wollen ist diese Wohnung optimal. In Sachen Sauberkeit hätte es ein wenig besser sein können, vielleicht war es aber auch nur einmal bei uns so.
