The Sintra Marmoris Palace is a beautiful hotel with old world charm and modern finishes. The view is exceptional, looking out over the charming town of Sintra with its National Palace and Moorish Castle in full view from the garden terrace. Beautiful hotel not far from the historic district, an easy walk to restaurants and the National Palace. Room was clean but a bit odd - we had a lovely terrace with nice seating and outdoor kitchen and shower. Shared the terrace with some peacocks. Breakfast was excellent and each evening there was wine and cheese on the hotel terrace. Area near the hotel was nicely maintained but the extensive gardens were in disrepair, presumably from the awful storms last January. Would be even better if the garden paths were open.

The staff here is so lovely and caring. We truly enjoyed our stay, and the staff made all the difference. We also loved the property. It is so beautiful and luxurious. The location is great, next to the city, yet far enough that it is very quiet, with a beautiful view on the town. My children loved feeding the peacocks who love to roam around and hang by the entrance. Wonderful stay!
