This is probably the first review i've ever written in about 15 years of using Hotels.com but our stay at the Apex is worth it! We were coming to stay overnight for my partners birthday and once Rahul and the team found out they absolutely blew us away with a complimentary upgrade, and room decorations, including a balloon and little cakes! We nearly missed it until check out but they even hand wrote a little personalised birthday card for him! Absolutely above and beyond what was expected and made it such a memorable day.

Apex City of London Hotel Apex is a lovely hotel, and I would definitely recommend it. The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from the Tower of London, making it very convenient for exploring the city. I highly recommend booking the full breakfast option. It’s delicious, with a wide variety of choices and great quality overall — a perfect way to start the day. The staff was extremely helpful when we encountered a minor issue with our room. We were initially assigned a room without windows, which made it feel a bit like sleeping in a capsule. However, the team was very attentive, proactive, and genuinely eager to assist. They offered us different options to resolve the situation, which we truly appreciated. Overall, I would rate my stay a solid 9 out of 10.
