The room was comfortable for five people. The staff was courteous and professional. Our family had such a great time we decided to stay an extra three days. The George has a very pleasant reception area, and the lady who checked us in was very friendly. We had a lovely clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Would definitely consider booking to come here again.

Staff friendly, room itself large and room and bathroom were clean. However there is no double or secondary glazing so as the room was on the front of the building it wasn’t a quiet room. There was also no desk in the room to work on so room not really suitable for someone there on business. Public areas felt a little tired but also appreciate it’s an old building. Well located for Kings Cross St Pancras station.

We were able to leave our luggage when we arrived in London and before we checked in, and when we checked out. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, towels changed daily. We had an en-suite triple room on top floor (no lift) - 3 single beds which were very comfortable and the price was good value for 3 adults. Small room and no wardrobe or drawers for clothes, but this wasn’t a problem for a short stay - all we needed was a bed and bathroom. Bathroom was really a small wet room, and entire floor got wet, but it was manageable. Small breakfast room but no other facilities. Good location close to Kings Cross/St Pancras, and 20-25 minute walk to Oxford Street, Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus. 5 min walk to Russell Square tube station. Overall a great value stay, comfortable and clean.
