We stayed overnight after landing at Terminal 2 and taking the train to Terminal 5. It was excruciatingly hard to find the hotel and there is absolutely nothing helpful on the hotel's website. The person who checked me in was gracious enough to upgrade our room, but I was really angry by the time I got to the check in counter. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put helpful and clear instructions on the website about how to find the gangway from Terminal 5. It really put me in a bad mood when it took so much effort and wrong turns to get there.

Bedrooms are somewhat tired and lacklustre
The location is great, a three minute indoor walk from Heathrow Terminal 5. We have stayed here since 2019 and it is now time for Sofitel to spend some money on their hotel. The bedrooms are tired, the bathrooms are good and the air conditioning usually cold and hard to adjust, so dress warmly, Not as good as its sister hotel in Gatwick, but the staff are very positive and helpful.

Hotel has gone dramatically down hill. Was once a nice luxury pre flight stay over. Tired, needs updating, staffing is horrendous. Bar service is so slow it’s incredible, but have the audacity to include a tip (over £ for a beer) Restaurant is poor, had a curry and was with two pre made store bought card board naans. Food below average quality and way above average prices. Stayed here loads in the past, won’t bother again, better offering 100£ cheaper nearby
