Stayed multiple times, and the Sofitel at T5 must have welcomed a million visitors, and every time I have to complain about the hostile electrics in the room which causes me poor sleep - no power sockets within 15 feet of bed so its not possible to check the alarm, check the time, check for messages, leading (especially alarm and time) to terrible sleep. There ARE sockets near the bed but of special proprietary design. They could have switched those 5 years ago and avoided caising

Very clean, comfortable & convenient for early morning flight. Could check bag night before. Didn’t have breakfast as flight was too early we did try to have tea in the room but not enough milk for our teas. We did get 2 free bottles of water but only 1 was still neither of us like sparkling water but as it took so long for someone to bring 1 toothbrush ( we asked for 2) as ours were in our checked bag- we didn’t dare ask again for anything else. Staff at reception were very friendly & helpful. Despite the minor hiccups we had a good comfy sleep, easy check-in checkout & walk to departures for our flight.

Usual airport hotel, it is set up poorly with loads of guest wings, making everything a hassle with the useless elevators. It does do the job for a night before flight hotel though.
